What glue / epoxy coul I use to make laminated blocks of paper could be worked on to make rings like these -> http://littlefly.co.uk ?

I tried regular paper glue without many hopes and indeed it failed, it has too much moisture which makes the paper wrinky, also doesnt see to reinforce the block much. There are some examples of other people online trying to replicate it, but the results are wayyyy shittier than what the guy in the link does.
