First step get a leather shoe, will be uncomfortable the first few wears but as you break it in it gets better.
Second get shoe shine polish and polish the bitch untill it shines then polish it some more cause fuck you.

I strongly suggest checking YouTube. Just don't search shoe blacking or boot blacking because it's nothing but fetish sites. If you're doing it in your living room or something, put some newspaper down. Don't wear good pants. Either that or put an old towel over your legs.
