Right because not stupid ass plastic all the way around.
But i mainly work on automotive electronics so I only need little exposed wiring tips for installing into plugs.
Right because that's the one I've used and that's the one I'm good with and I'm not going to spend more money on another tool that does the same shit

Ideal Industries Stripmaster Wire Stripper,
pic related - pretty similar to your right
What's left for tho? it damage the wire too much
I have a set of the Irwin strippers. They work really well. I even use them on 30ga thermocouple wire. You can strip multiple wires at the same time too.
Well worth ~$15 on amazon.

Left is great for smaller awg, until they break after two months.
Right because I work faster with them
We have half dozen wire strippers at work. Wrote strippers names on all of them. Porsche, candy, destiny...ect.
I've always just used my teeth, way quicker than having to bust out another tool

I refuse to buy anything Irwin
Weidmüller Stripax
Why in the world is someone not using german tools? my whole toolbox is filled with german quality products.
>>1076959
Oooh, check you with your Deutsche trash.
Swiss is where it's at if you want precision and quality. Price be damned.
>>1076959
100% with you. German tools are superior, will never use anything else again (maybe some deWalt)

Unless you strip wires everyday, this works fine at $0.99
I used this until around high school.
>>1076959
I'm not one to judge tools by their nationality, but stripax is great

my dad pulled a pair of these out of the dumpster when his employer shut down.
I spent my childhood playing around with them.
click click. SNAP.
The best.

I had no clue thats what that notch was for.
Interesting
None of that other bullshit.
Strips the cable in half a second flat, why complicate things?

The right one is pretty good I have to say. What I did, was to bang around on the rivets a lottle to make them less loose, so that I got a tighter fit. I also de-sharpened the cutting edges a tiny bit, otherwise they would eat into the copper strands a little. Now it's pretty much perfect for wires down to 0.5mm2.
For really small diameters, I use a Thomas&Betts ABMK-1. Got it for like €10 on ebay, people didn't know what gem they sold there. Even the tiniest wires get stripped perfectly.
