Thanks you the idea of a plate as the foot. I can't actually use the pot as part of the nets structure due to other complications. But I will run with the general idea.

just make a pvc frame and zip tie the netting to the pvc. i assume this is what you are talking about

Can you secure to the walls? You can run s tension lines with turnbuckles between each post and the wall. Major trip or clothesline hazard, but just an idea.
