Tool board.

Flat large piece of MDF (18mm), drill a 12mm hole in the back whre you want to tool to hang -on the other side- to your magic tool board but don't drive thru the mdf to make a hole.

Jam the square magnets into each hole and mount the board in your workshop somewhere with the holes facing the wall.

Alternatively , secure the magnets to the wall soehow and mount a 3mm mdf sheet over the magnet area.

Clean, no hooks, not catches and easy to wipe clean from angle grinder dust.
