1. Use craft knife to cut only the skin away
2. Slowly carve out teeth
3. Glue eyes

this. lemon juice or a heavy solution of water + citric salt will keep them pearly whites pearly white. but even then you won't get days out of it. don't freeze, freezing will wreck everything.

I would use a dremel tool, but I've only cut metal and wood with one so it'd probably be overkill for an apple. Try it out anyway, post results.

Use an exacto knife and some citric acid+water mixture in a spray bottle. The acid can be lemon juice, fyi. Apply the spray as you are cutting to prevent the apple from turning brown.

You don't need to use anything else.
