They are dyed black forever. There is nothing you can do to make them brown. They are not nice boots. Save your money and buy a good pair of boots that will last.

you can scrub the boots thoroughly with wirewool, then rub rigorously with acetone and then bleach to try to make it lighter in colour, and then... destroy the boots in the process.

can you dye brown boots black by applying black shoe polish?
cream like meltonian, not wax like kiwi.

There are really strong acrylic dyes for leather out there. I used Morello Lederfarbe. Could work out okayish if you can get it or a similar product. But as other anons said. These aren´t good boots.

What's wrong with black? I spent 80 bucks, 61 Euro, on these dicktoe Bates for my wife 4 years ago. Maybe try to hunt down TUKs (shady quality) or demonias in Brown if you are dead set on it.
