1. dissolve citric acid in warm water, then pour over it

2. scrub with magic eraser and some water

3. repeat until clear

to prevent this, drop some citric acid over it regularly like once a week or once a month

Thanks pal I appreciate that. You have a nice day.
>>

no problem, remember to let the citric acid sit on it for a bit, maybe a few hours before pouring again

a more hardcore method is citric acid in boiling water, turn on hot water and run it into the drain to heat it up first (to reduce thermal shock), then citric acid in boiling water pour onto it, slowly
>>
In place of citric acid you can use vinegar, no need to dilute it.

Both are popular for restoring vintage bmx bikes.

Hello, what are we doing in this thread? Is it cleaning chrome or something else?
>>
>>1052159
You poured acid down the drain right?

I did that once and fucked up the chrome plating permanently.
>>
>>1052843
What exactly kind of acid did you pour down? Because it must be the wrong kind
>>
>>1052874
Ferric chloride pcb etching solution.

Lucky you didn't pour into the toilet then
