You can also get a ham radio license and moon bounce shit off it, receivable by half the earth at once. (yes people have done this from microwave magnetrons) Hams are allowed to transmit up to 1.5 kw (really powerful microwave ovens cap out at 1.4kw)

Really you don't want to heat up your eyeballs or to a less extent your guts (which have proteins that denature at relatively low temperatures) sticking your arms legs and hands in the field is relatively safe for short periods of time.

I used to do appliance repair, a common thing is to rip out a magnetron magnet and keep it stuck to the inside of your truck to remagnetize your tools.

I had one taped to the end of a stick to reach down and pick up tools I dropped in appliances so I didn't have to take them apart to get my screwdriver back or whatever.

Never messed with a spot welder but 1 day in welding shop in high school but that was like 15 years ago and i dont even remember how it was made.

Couple of volts. Hundreds of amps.

You have to remove the secondary (high voltage) from the microwave transformer and make a new secondary of a couple of turns of battery jumper cable.

Dangerous because you still feed the primary with 120 Vac.

Warning: Some newer ovens don't use 60 Hz transformers. They use high frequency flyback arrangements. Much lighter weight, less steel and copper. But good luck building the drive circuitry to run one of these.
