/diy/ what's going on with my daily energy usage? I'm up at 6 getting ready for work so I understand the 6/7am spikes, and I work all day and make dinner around 6 so the evening usage makes sense.
What's with the spikes at 2am and 12pm??
I live in a small studio so literally nothing is on or running (no heaters/AC, literally only the fridge and microwave are plugged in)

Does your frig have an ice maker?
Do you have an electric water heater?
me and gf moved into 4bd house with our 3 cats.. realized a bit late that the insulation is shitty and the AC is ancient. put a window AC in the bedroom (400W) which believe it or not actually saves us money even though it runs all night long. rest of the house is set to 80F. it's early in the month so the price is $0.24/kwh. towards the end it's $0.40/kwh... fuck PG&E.

PC running but in sleep mode at night? Some software likes to schedule large updates for 2-3am
