Has anyone had any experience with one of these cheap gimbals? I'm going to be making a handheld device for my GoPro. All of the premade devices are $175+. I figured with the left over GoPro mounts and a tiny bit of fab work I can make something nice for under $80.

Is this for a dji drone? Had a crash with mine (phantom 3 advanced), and the yaw arm just broke. 3D printed it, put back the connectors (Which i bought on the official site, chinese ones actually don't work at all.) and now it films okay. Have to say that my camera is dji's, not gopro.
There is a problem, but i think it is from the crash : the motors won't work, and the app indicates a "gimbal roll error". I think it is the gyro that must be stuck... If anyone has had the same :)
Also, dji is famous for the roll error of its gimbals, apparently (though i haven't experienced it personnally), the stabilisation isn't perfect. Just so you know.
Yeah the fucking firmware or what ever doesn't work. Gives you fucking errors and what not. I have mine glb 3axis sitting on the shelf collecting dust because of that.
