So, the way my window and air conditioner are designed leaves a thin line between the two on both sides that gnats and other small bugs have been getting through.
I sprayed some gap-filling foam compound that dissolves with acetone into the cracks. Problem is I just noticed that it says "do not spray near electrical motors". Near an open flame, oven, etc. I can understand. But a 8000 btu air conditioner?
Dumb question: Should I be concerned about my window box air conditioner igniting my gap-filler?
Pic unrelated.

No.
The foam is only really flammable when it's curing; an evaporating solvent is used to keep it liquid in the can.
Wait a few hours for it to dry and the fumes won't be an issue, tho it may still smell a bit. It takes 24 - 48 hours to cure totally.

this. once cured (hardened) its not a problem.
