I want to make pic related, I know I can do it with $30 packs of steel pegboard off amazon but what can i use to make the rifle stands and pistol holsters?
>>
I really think guns do not belong in the hands of people who don't have a need for them.
>>
Depending how good you design and build it, you could make little wooden shelves for the butt stocks to sit on. Design a way for the shelves to lock into the steel peg board and be sure to make some supports below it, because they will definitely sag and bend down quickly depending how well you make it. The edge that contacts the barrel or handguard should be something soft to prevent scratches. I've seen stores use felt, but that may trap moisture and cause rust during long time storage. Maybe there are cheap brushes with plastic bristles you could use. The pistols could have shelves too, but also some dowel or rod that slides into the barrel to hold them up. You see some stands like that for sale. I wouldn't use steel for that though in case it scratches the rifling or crown.

>I want to make pic related, I know I can do it with $30 packs of steel pegboard off amazon but what can i use to make the rifle stands and pistol holsters?

Shop fitting for pegboards. Wire loops that are locked in by the weight of the items on them.

Reckon the shorter loops would be good for pistols. One for the butt to rest on, one to slide over the barrel from above, locking it into place.

I see where he's coming from even though I think you should have as many funs as you want.

I don't think Canada or Mexico need nukes, but at the end of the day it's not my call.

>I see where he's coming from even though I think you should have as many funs as you want.
The thing is he doesn't, he will vote to take my rights away even if he says he doesn't. Its voting from a point of ignorance and emotion.
>>
>>1020110
who says he doesn't. wouldn't you want a gun ifto protect yourself from the literally anyone could get one
>>
>>1020139
>If someone disagrees with me they're just ignorant and emotional

Uh huh.

Well, welcome to democracy. Enjoy your stay.
>>
>>1020110
Like cops or senators or the military?

No of course not, it's always the 99.9% of perfectly law abiding people are the problem. Cops have more bad shoots than civilians but no one ever says they shouldn't have guns even though that worked fucking fine in England for hundreds of years.
>>
>>1020103
I really think words do not belong in the mouths of people who don't have a need for them.

But isn't there a document saying you have a right to say what you want? If only there was something like that for guns. Assuming you're an Muricafag.
>>
>>1020103
Is that in a gun store? If you were a collector why would you want so many identical ones? Are they just stockpiling for the sake of it?

As a collector, I can say without doubt that there is merit to collecting a singular model or style. I've five Mosin Nagants and each are unique in the markings, materials, and manufacturing.

Number one responsibility in life is to protect you and your family from anything. This is the only way to insure responsibility number one. He needs these to maintain our freedom, as do you, and I. A war was never won with a pistol, and if you're close enough to use you're side arm, you're already dead.

I don't have that right. But enough like-minded people like myself can vote to restrict firearm ownership, as is our right.

>>1020192
>>1020521
Your 'need' to own guns for protection should be commensurate to your risk.of getting shot. Unfortunately, someone like Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton has more need for bodyguards with guns, due to their exposure, and the number of insane fuckers with guns in this country.

>>1021507
People who keep guns in their household are more likely to have their lives ended by guns. Empirical fact. You and others who think like you buy guns thinking it makes them safer. The evidence shows that this line of thinking makes everyone unsafe.
>>
>>1023030
>People who keep guns in their household are more likely to have their lives ended by guns.
Sort of makes sense. People who don't keep guns in their household are more likely to die by being raped to death than those who do. What's your point?
>>
>>1023030
So we should punish everybody because a vast minority of legal gun owners get shot to death?
>>
>>1023285
Your rights end where my feelings begin
>>
>>1023285
Who's punishing anyone? Keep the guns you have. You are not being punished when common sense laws are passed that prevent you from buying more.
>>
>>1023795
>Common sense

>You're not being punished
You'd be prohibiting law abiding citizens from exercising a right they've had since 1791. How is that not a punishment?

So, because you can't beat your wife to death just cause you feel like it your are being punished? Or get opium without a prescription? Or own a slave? Times change. Its not 1791 anymore. And last I checked their hasn't been "A well regulated militia" in the USA since they turned out to be a bunch of useless, doorknob humping drunks that got their shit kicked in during the War of 1812.

Militia in that context doesn't mean what you think it does or want it to.
>>
>>1023030
Most gun deaths are among subhumans and the odds of getting capped if you aren't shit are tiny.

Over 6,000 Americans die every day. Only gunny deaths are frightening. Nobody worries about the highway death rate, hospital mistake death rate, or other mortality and morbidity factors.

>>1023924
Wait, can I still buy alcohol? I forgot, that was another good use of government coercion. What is current year anyway?
>>

More people die to rampaging trucks than mass shootings. We should concentrate our efforts to ban assault trucks to protect ourselves and our children. Most people don't need to haul more than 2 tons at a time anyways.

>>

>>
>>1024202
>>1024203
I don't get all the hate for the nugget meme. They're cheap rifles that shoot a very respectable cartridge. For $100 and ammo a Mosin will take any big game animal in North America. Most nuggets aren't pretty and most aren't accurate, but they all go boom when you pull the trigger. On top of that, your rifle will always smell like cosmoline, which is one of the great /k/ smells, up there with smells like burnt powder and old hoppes 9. And don't even act like you haven't laughed at nugget memery. Telling someone to buy a nugget as a first rifle or first gun is flat retarded though. Still don't think they deserve the hate they get from guys like you. Bunch of Sig shooting namby pamby girly men.
>>
>>1024257
>Telling someone to buy a nugget as a first rifle or first gun is flat retarded though.
Yes, that's the main problem I have with this memery. Acting like a $150 rifle is the be all end all shit.

>Bunch of Sig shooting namby pamby girly men.
Nice ad hominem.
I just don't see why you'd bother getting nuggets when you can save money for 2 or 3 more weeks and get something less shitty.
>>
>>1023030
Soooo if you're a pos who lives around a bunch of other pos you're very likely to get shot, because the do it a hundred times a day.

So by your logic, those living in the slums have a right to have s gun.

But the innocent good people that live within driving distance of them, who will be victimized by the pos, don't.

Good logic.
>>

Still the cheapest rifle you can buy though AFAIK, but you can get new shitty AR15s for $500.
>>
>>1024261
>ad hominem
You misunderstand. That wasn't part of my argument, it was just an insult.

>>1024505
>>1024522
No fucking shit. I hadn't checked prices in a few months but damn. That sucks. I guess the day of the nugget is gone now. I mean I sure wouldn't pay $250 for a 91/30. Wonder if the more rare variants like the m28s and m39s are gonna see the same kind of price increase.
>>
>>1024244
And just like the First Amendment doesn't let you shout fire in a crowded building, the Second Amendment shouldn't allow you to own semi automatic rifles.
>>
>>1024772
>Using a debunked argument from one of the worst politicians to ever "serve" the US
You're not sounding trustworthy, Gerth.
>>
>>1024772

>>
>>1020110

Every US citizen should have enough armaments to take down a predator drone or M1 Abrams tank, as well as anti personnel weapons. And it should be issued to them after a mandatory military training period. Senators should fear losing much more than their jobs when they violate the will of the people for lobbyists interests. Revolution should always be half a step away.
>>
>>1024772
>And just like the First Amendment doesn't let you shout fire in a crowded building, the Second Amendment shouldn't allow you to own semi automatic rifles.

When you make a legal statement the burden of proof is on you to support it. Citation needed or fuck off. For example the citation needed for this statement is "onus probandi". If you say a law is X, and cannot supply proof, you fail at debate.
>>
>>1024772
get off your computer, bust out the quill pen, write me a letter about the then have some guy on a horse deliver it to my house. then and only then can you argue why modern technology shouldn't be protected by the constitution.
p.s. there were semi automatic rifles when the constitution was penned. Google "pickle gun" it was made in 1718

>>
>>1027512
>why do gun owners get so assblasted?

Tends to happen when you have special interest groups who are either extremely ignorant, or they are knowledgeable enough to obfuscate and push an agenda to the un-knowledgeable public.

Most gun owners are for common sense gun laws.
The problem is give an inch, take a mile.
Slippery slopes fuck everyone.

Just look at your right to privacy, how its slowly being chipped away by retarded ignorant politicians and corrupt power hungry sects of the government. The same exact thing would happen to the second amendment
>>
>>1027527
>Reasonable gun control laws
>Give an inch take a mile
This. Reasonable gun control is completely off the table IMO unless we get back full-auto or national concealed carry in return.

There is no 'reasonable' gun control, because we've already lost almost everything to what was supposed to be a robust inalienable right to military grade small arms.

>But they didn't mean X
There were high fire rate weapons available when the constitution was drafted, either the Giradoni rifle, which most surviving specimens were located in the US because prussia destroyed them, or pepper box pistols. The musket WAS a military weapon, and that was exactly what they wanted people to keep.

>But that's just muskets
I guess you can't worship any new religions like scientology or LDS or use a printer without a government license since the first amendment only covers movable type single page presses.
