ADHD haver/SMD manufacturer here, i have terrible vision but can't yet afford glasses. I work doing tedious SMD soldering at an engineering firm.

I started wearing reading glasses so i could see what i am doing but it had an interesting secondary effect: because it made anything outside of 2 feet away hard to see, it gave me no other option than to focus on what i was doing. productivity went through the roof.
