In fact last time someone mentioned about tying up loose side events and adding content after finishing it he kinda changed the subject and mentioned he has another project lined up. I've said this a lot. Sizebox is a pile of shit in my opinion. It just scrapped models from everywhere, including MMD, and even made it so you had to PAY for some of those models (which isn't even legal). The creator even GAVE UP and just made it open source. It's pretty damn sad, and it's also wiped out the notion of people putting in effort for MMD photos these days.

I've been using Sizebox for few days and I've installed more than 200 models, but I didn't pay for any of those and I'll never pay for more models anyways. This aside, I definitely understand the striking difference between MMD and Sizebox. Probably MMD is overkill for my necessities right now: I can simply fap just by watching bikini-wearing Sonico growing steadily over the skyscraper my character is standing on and I don't even need animations/morphs or poses to feel aroused. Once I have my multisize scenario with 3 or 4 giantesses and I can move my character to have different points of view wherever I want, I'm satisfied and so far Sizebox has given me that. It really depends on the level of quality you want, and your prerequisite skill in learning human posing and such. It's nothing compared to drawing, but you gotta at LEAST know how to make it look like they aren't breaking bones.
I picked it up within a few hours to learn as a basic posing studio, and I've been using it time on and off for a year and yet I'm still at "OK" quality. Actually decent animations (not 1 frame photos like I do) probably take hours and hours worth of work if it's an original motion data. My own works take about 2-3 hours as well, and again. Not even close to great.

Oh, I'm not doubting that there are people who just shit out terrible content. In fact, I started MMD as people do for sizebox these days: trying to throw a favorite character into a giantess scenario because they're broke and/or can't draw for shit.
