/d/ was a catch-all for fetishes other than scat and furry for literally years, and that includes discussion because there's no other place on the internet where you can find people to discuss them with without attaching your name to it. You can't just plop onto /trash/ and expect to find a chasity thread just waiting for you, or make one there and expect replies before it gets booted off.

They are in fact images with alternative hentai.

As someone who irregularly browses /v/, I noticed the mods are shit. Of course the mods are shit. That's going to be the same for every board. But...

How do we know the mods are doing anything? This is a problem we'd have all over. There's no demonstrable proof that the mods are doing anything at all because we rarely seem to see it happen. Because we see almost nothing happen, we can't call them out on their shit if something DOES go wrong.

I noticed an increase in vanilla threads popping up. Right now, there's someone wanting creampies. Fuck off back to >>>/h/ with that one.
There's also several threads that have low traffic to begin with being split into three separate threads being people are being cunts about not liking X part of their degenerate fetish instead of accepting the degeneracy of their bretheren in full. Like, there was literally six vore threads at last chance I looked and there's no reason for it. 2 (soft/hard) I could understand, but nope, there's a thread for cockvore, anal vore, soft vore, giantess vore, monster vore, and male vore. Why the fuck is there so many?

I personally think the bump limits could stand to be raised. Between the six threads for one topic and other things, people might feel rushed to keep their thread on the board since they're so spread out. Fixing these two problems would fix a lot of the suffering. Maybe 350/300 for a new post/image limit?

The CYOA plague isn't gone, but I see no reason to remove it entirely. Sending things to >>>/trash/ seems to create a larger problem down the line. As of now, we got "Pic below happens to you" and "Pic below is your new body." I personally like the latter one because it's a nice way of relieving my gambling habit without spending money, but even I know that the current state of the board means those SHOULD go into >>>/trash/ if everything else is. It's only fair. Even then, submitting people into ponyvorehell is unfair, and even cruel.

Futa should have it's own board, or should be kept within 'futa' specific threads. Yes, futa is a fetish, and that's what /d/ is all about, but it's leaking into all the other fetishes, and I can accept most cross contamination threads until I can't find any of my beloved BDSM stuff without it all being dickgirls.

I've been going to /h/ more because I find more hardcore there, and people tend to post whole bits of comics. I really miss the "story time" days of old. I get that Sad Panda exists for a reason, but I liked it when people shared more of their favorite parts of manga/douj. that were part of a fetish-specific thread.

I give no shits about the captioning stuff-- I can scroll right on past it in threads as long as there's no sperg that insists on storytelling every post.
