To me the biggest aspect is being able to dictate what you will grow up into and also having to ability to experiment with different roles. I don't think we have ever seen art that takes this premise and elaborates on it? It feels like the majority of bodyswap content is either about a boy and a girl swapping and then fucking or about the boy in the girl's body fucking someone else. The girl in the boy's body rarely gets the spot light or take charge, older ladies swapping with younger men is also quite rare. There are maybe at most what, one or two work that include this and don't play it just for laughs? Even though TG Bodyswap is my fetish, I'm really tired of the same premise over and over again which is why I've essentially got to write my own shit to jack off to at this point. I think a lot of it gets so stale because as you say, it's just stories about a guy being a woman and fucking a male who may or may not be his old body (usually before swapping back with no consequences) which is aces but... been there done that -- my dick demands more.

At this point body swapping is just a weird sub-branch of TG. But it gets me diamonds because it's all about identity and role reversal. I like seeing how people's perspectives, desires and social standing are shaped by their body and identity and what happens when you're suddenly the super short asian girl nobody takes seriously and she's the 6ft5 aryan that everybody wants to be around. The woman who hates her femininity and wishes she could be free of her body and the guy who naively thinks it'll be awesome to put on a short dress and get free drinks for once. The abusive husband who becomes the abused. Swap stories really don't actually put a lot of thought into what it would mean to physically be someone else and effectively assume their identity/role...they just describe what their body looks and feels like.

But, even a straight-played swap n fuck story can work for me if they involve the female a little more (see that ecchi manga something something Yuzu for a good example).
