Artists which beforehand released entire comics within relatively short amounts of time suddenly go on Patreon and then it magically slows to a dripfeed and drops in quality.

Seriously, count how many (Ongoing) comics have a Patreon logo in the corner of each page. With Japanese doujins they (99% of the time) wait until they're fucking finished before releasing it and take time and effort to do so, even if they're getting paid for it. These lazy fucks clearly aren't in it out of passion anymore and aren't directly beholden to anyone as they would via a commission, so they do the bare minimum their supporters expect from them to keep the cash coming in. That's why the quality also gets worse. Crowdfunding has ruined the quality of so many things it's disgusting and has created an entire generation of lazy and self-entitled artists not in it for the love of it anymore. This goes with anything Patreon touches, but it's especially bad in the Western cartoon porn scene.

Sorry I just was looking for somewhere relevant to vent. It needs to be said.
