Okay, so, fixed my own problem and I think it should work for everyone else. Use 7-zip to extract the files. Because, otherwise, it doesnt ask to put in a password with the normal way and the files wont open. Woo

PNG files use listless compression, meaning that any pixel that the artist puts there is in the same place and is the same color. JPEG files use lossy compression, which is more conservative of disk space, but actually changes what the picture looks like. On some JPEG files, zooming in close reveals what are called artifacts, which are fucking disgusting. PNG files do not corrupt more than any other type of file. PNGs are ALWAYS better. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.

Yeah, if I saved the pics as JPEGs they wouldn't look nearly as good. Also, according to >>7470251 you may want to try using 7-zip to unpack the files. That's what was used to compress them, but I was unaware there would be any technical issues with other unzipping programs. Again, might be the encryption used. I'll have to run some tests. Either way, 7-zip is a great free program to have as an alternative to Winrar.
