What would be the most essential stats to keep track of in a slave/corruption/dickmilking/whatever game, in order to scratch the fetish appeal while still trying to make it as simple as possible to avoid turning into full-blown micromanagement autism?

Well we were going to post a new update before we leave to see a movie, but when I was testing I found a game breaking exploit lol.

Made a new character and wound up with extremely high stats (high 90s as well as almost 600 magic ) So we will hold that back and get that one fixed lol. Though we may release the flawed version, just so people can screw around with it. Just for shits and giggles.

0.7.47 came out about 10 seconds after 0.7.46. probably because 0.7.46 was half-implemented.

There is code not present in 0.7.45 though. Just not a way to actually give del the horse cock - and apparently the new bust for Reasner isn't in either.

I've been more or less "out of commission" this last couple of weeks due to illnesses (not fenoxosyndrome, like actually sick), work, kicking out my fuckup roommate and helping my fiance with her projects and studying for finals. etc. Lots of shit and just not having the energy afterwords to do anything other than sleep, spend time with my girl or play vidja while drunk.

I've finally got some time recently and crapped out a half finished update full of junk that I started but didn't have time to finish because I just wanted to have something out in the public again and I never stick to one track because of autism. woo.

Anyways, the highlights of the update are backend improvements to the TF system, new but incomplete TFs, a new, but again incomplete, event ("ego:RWF_E8" for the debug command) that tests out relationship and NPC mechanics with a gross alien spider and some other junk. Mostly backend as is the norm for me.

At the moment I'm trying to finish the other routes in the new event, right now I'm working on the anal route. But I've got to head off to work in twenty minutes, so thats fun.

Anyways, if you got a taste for half assed, poorly written shit, then it might be up your alley. If not, try again this sunday when I will hopefully have this content patch ready and it'll be marginally improved. Cheerio

Don't get hyped though, that just leads to disappointment. The most you can do in the game is fiddle with items, see a handful of scenes in the forest or lake, get fat or mess around with the body processes and use debug commands.
As a warning the debug commands need to be updated, but they should still work for the most part.

Okay, I played the most recent update for FC and well I have a complaint.

Interesting, thanks for looking into that. I'll wait for 0.7.48 and try another upload. It's worth noting though, that I had 4-5 version of those 'sabotaged' builds on my first account. I'd upload the build, the version number would be correct, but people would mention missing content. I don't play the game, so that was difficult to verify, but became obvious when they switched Syri's bust, and the old bust remained in my latest build. After making a new account and re-pledging, I redownloaded that build, and everything was correct. So I do suspect some sort of sabotage system based on that user tracking.

DRM is anything that aims to protect your copyright from being infringed. Something like Denuvo is obviously DRM, but something this simple is also DRM, it's just DRM at a level that would be trivial to bypass even back in 1990.
Most examples of DRM are so simple that many people (wrongfully) don't even consider them to be DRM because of how complex other methods are.

it really isn't about the money, it's about the corporation slaves, dirt cheap and you can customize them to your desires. Not sure if they can end up better than the school slaves but they're pretty good value anyway.

Did some bug hunting/ fixin in the combat stuff again. In the previous build I think there was a recoil effect in place whenever someone was dealt damage, now the recoil- or knock back happens on hit regardless of damage type, it also considers which way the sprite is facing so the knock back effect is correct. Makes the combat feel a bit more responsive.

Started on the drone buddy icons, still need to do a "pieces found", and a "level up" for it. It's also different in acquisition because you'll get drones by defeating a couple of them and putting the pieces together.

I have risen from the dead again, although will be still busy until June probably, but have still been working a bit. (I'm that guy making the randomly-generated town where you kidnap lolis, the one with the genetic/etc systems and other autism)

I've been triyng to fully flesh-out one sample scene (playing doctor), pic related.

Since people were wanting a new demo even without there being to many features, I might release one. What kind of gameplay flow would you guys expect? Be able to go out, kidnap a loli, molest her in some way, get attacked by cops if you're seen, then bring her back to the cell?

That much was in the last demo, even though it was a long time ago, since a lot of the new work was:
a) refactoring, especially after I transitioned to the new graphics (since that made me decide to un-hardcode a LOT of stuff...)
b) non-player-visible stuff (yet)
c) internal (developer) stuff for like creating house interiors, etc
d) simply AI stuff (ie lolis play tag, etc)

Or would I need to have some gameplay for once the loli is in your basement? There will (eventually) be gameplay for looking after her (ie she will require food, etc), training/teaching her, etc.

Is that part important to you guys, or is the kidnapping stuff more important?

I could alternatively work a bit more on stealth-related stuff. Right now there's some noise-related mechanics but they're very rudimentary. There's basic vision too, but it needs fixing.

There's no concept of suspicion yet either. So you're free to walk right up to little girls in the park all day and no one will react...

Going by your own post, I think you need to back up something like this yourself. The way the ovikari larva work is when they've hatched they leech nutrients from the player's body directly, however the eggs compete for a base nourishment in the beginning. If they don't get enough right off, some of the eggs die and get consumed by the others.

Once a timer fills up, the malnourished ones are culled. So I think whats happening is when the player continues to get more material, the new eggs are killing off old ones (and then none of the messages are displaying because of a separate error I fixed) so it ends up with this weird stalling.

Also, because the ovikari birthing scene doesn't actually stop other events and is simply listed at the end of a scene, its also possible that when rapidly flipping through scenes it could be passed up.

Like I said I'm not really sure if its fixed because it only showed up a few times during my testing anyways, so I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Or didn't save time at all. The rewrite had more to do with keeping a consistent narrative voice throughout the game. My writing style has changed a bit over the years, and it would be jarring to have some scenes written forever ago juxtaposed with brand new stuff.

And in a more general sense, doing a rewrite will force you (as a writer) to read what you've written. It helps with the editing process and forces you to see run on sentences, comma splices, and shit that just generally doesn't make sense. It's helpful when you don't have a dedicated/proper editor.

Ultimately though, my post was more about the time it took to do everything. The game itself could have been finished in less than a year if I were dedicated enough to do it. When I started working on it most recently (with the intent to complete it) it took me about 1.5 years, but a good chunk of that time was spent fucking around learning Twine and porting the existing game over to it.

Question; if you were to play a /d/-orientated City building game or RPG, what would you expect to be part of it?
