Sure, nothing stops someone from DOSing the server. Nor spamming invalid packets. There's ways to mitigate both, but that's work way down the line. Part of the demo test will be to gauge the load on the server. If the community accidentally DOSes the server that's one thing. He just announced the game a month or two ago. I think he started working on it sooner, but Christ man, relax.

I also don't see this obsessive amount of work on the combat that you seem to be seeing. I've seen screenshots and gifs of him improving the UI, resolving perspective issues, adding new NPCs, etc. Either way, I'd rather see castlerock dev put in as much time as he feels necessary to each area of the game, rather than have assloads of half-implemented crap. If he's still working on the combat next year, and it's phenomenal combat, then I have no complaints.

If you'd rather play an RPG with a plethora of rushed, half-implemented, and subpar areas of gameplay instead, grab a copy of TiTS.

Hey /d/ I've got an issue with the preg mod for Free Cities, after installing it and running from its generated .exe everything is fine other than pic related. When I use the vector art everything is aligned perfectly other than the dicks which are way too low, this only happens in the slave's own page, in lists of multiple slaves everything is fine. This is running on the newest versions of the base game/mod. How do I fix this?

I have 17 txt files, occupying ~15mbs of space together, with notes on mechanics, variables, functions and ideas for events for the game I intend to make, and which I aspire to ensure will be the most feature creepy, autismally complex, derangedly open-ended, dizzyingly expansive, needlessly freeform open-world text-game in the history of h-games.
