When I had first arrived, they scrambled in fear away from me. They cowered in homes that could barely withstand the shaking from my heavier footsteps, much less a direct step. One man in long robes and a very pointy hat even showed up, likely to try to invoke their own flavor of mighty space wizard to smite me down. It was cute and made me smile, something rare in the first month. It had been rough, figuring out how to feed yourself with no living creature large enough to even be classified as an "ankle-biter," at least as far as I had seen. After the first three rainy days, I had realized that I must have been in the geological equivalent of the British Isles, tons of small islands mixed with larger ones next to a truly gigantic landmass, even to me! Such a space would likely have whales in the surrounding oceans! Survival was possible!

Then the rain hit and I hated everything about my choice in real estate. Sure, I was smart enough to face the doorway to a lower elevation but I forgot to factor in the elevation of the hovel in general and I found my place flooded during the first rain. Needless to say I was depressed, wet and cold as I built up rocks the next day to form a higher foundation in a higher location on the other side of a hillock facing away from the city from before. Every week or so, I was greeted with another midnight incursion from the tinies trying to end the monster they surely perceived me to be. What fools they were but I didn't harm any of them beyond scaring them and bruising some butts with a much lighter flick here and there. Sometimes they had the cutest little horses and I made sure to capture and eat every one I could get a hold of. After two weeks I had a home. A small flag one of them carried followed by their immediate charge brought my interest and I walked back over, a mere mile away, at least to them. I figured they were too preoccupied with their charge to notice the titan starting to walk more quickly toward them.
The local tinies had been rather distrusting to me but as I approached what quickly appeared to be an invasion, I couldn't help but be infuriated. They were a town of farmers and craftsmen, the few warriors they sported were under-equipped and likely under-trained! How dare they attack MY tinies! The charge didn't halt as I broke into a run but as I got closer I could see some of the horses shake and fall, likely from the quakes of my sprinting. I didn't stop when I got close as I had a plan forming in my head. Likely, I wouldn't need to strike more than once and I bent down to scoop a pile of rocks from the construction stockpile. I slid to a halt and with a judged motion, I tossed the rocks to the charging force and watched hell break loose.
