Fresh off the presses. Thread question: Latex in fantasy art, good or bad?
That's it of this couple for now, two more on their way. Now, to dump my entire dropbox over the next few days... well, all the non-furry, non-photographic stuff anyways.
Who don't love Vem?

James Bond version of this picture.
More Queens. Yes I know she's called a Princess, but it's close enough for the topic header. Shut up.
WitchDick? Or is the term "Magic Wand"?
Aight, captcha is busting my ass, I'll resume dumping in a few hours.
>>7321381
I say good, but I'm also a fan of when it's specifically drawn impossibly clingy and skintight, even though that's completely unrealistic.
Nun version
Puc related, def a life goal of mine.
Aight. Thread should keep til morning. I'll resume dumping then.
Anyone have the image where the lady's skin and hair is completely latex? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
>>7323964
You are going to have to be waaaay more specific.
>>7324479
Yeah, buddy, that's not a girl...
>>7323964
That kinda thing is waaaay more common than one or two pictures.

Gender loses it's meaning when you turn into a latex doll.
This might be a good spot to ask; does anyone recognize this? Trying to source it with no help from reverse image search
So I'm new to latex and I've got a question. I stumbled across a few sources saying you can actually develop an allergy to latex over time simply by being in contact with it. Is this true? I was under the impression the allergy was something you would be born with. If I got some latex items would I eventually (or potentially) not be able to use them without having an allergic reaction?
You can become allergic to things over time but its got to be cronic over exposure.
Eg, breathing in sawdust from 9:5 for 20 years would give you an alergy, having an incredibly poor diet for years would give you diabetes ect.
Youd basically have to be inlatex every day for an extended amount of time for years which probably isnt going to happen

I've heard stuff about people becoming allergic because they were wearing latex gloves at work daily, but I doubt you'll be wearing a full latex outfit everyday (I mean, you could, but as someone who's got one, I know I'd get bored if I was wearing it daily).
>>7325498
>>7325536
Though seeing as small exposure such as just through gloves could develop the allergy I'm assuming quantity would compound that? Like a full catsuit would be much worse in relation?
>>7325529
Shame as I usually try for the cheap stuff since it's only a hobby for me. Plus I'm not really capable of investing a larger sum into it. Though I have heard before that the really cheap stuff is just so bad it's not worth it, so I don't really pick bottom of the barrel either.

In the end it comes down to exposure. And constant small doses is worse than just half a day every other weekend. I mean, just look at the top risk groups - those are all people who have daily contact with latex for a longer time. Medical and cleaning personnel, people with an already weakened immune system who spend a lot of time in hospital, people who work with raw latex.
So unless you overdo it and try to be a discount Pervydoll, you should be ok. Make sure you don't buy the cheapest stuff you find on eBay, and check the maker's name. LatexCatfish for example has improved their quality a lot since their name became better known.

I suppose it would be in best interest for this sort of thing to save up and invest in the good stuff, even if it's only a hobby. I always considered having stuff custom made because there's not really anything out there that's exactly what I'd want.
>>7328748
Got my first rubber suit custom made last year, pretty much for the same reason. Also, if you've got to spend lots of money in fetish gear, might as well ask for something unique.
>>7325228
Unless you make gender a point - of course it doesn't have to be the gender that the doll identifies as.

I want to get a nice latex catsuit from Latex101.
I am a guy and they make mostly men stuff.
So far i got a full set of "normal" clothes from them. S size fits me well enough.
>>7328186
Allergies with latex also comes often togehter with stuff like the powder they use in these gloves. Having worked under high hygiene conditions your skin on you hands will also be under constant stress due hand washing and disinfection.

I got a hood from Latex101, fuckin' thing's got the smallest noseholes that don't even line up, the bridge of my nose covers them. It's rediculous.
VacBeds are pretty Fucking awesome.
>>7325609
Most developed allergies are from uncured latex. Good quality latex outfits will be cured and washed of most allergic material. After you get a new piece always rinse it with hot water and let it air-dry.
>>7330909
Hmm sounds fun :-D
In about two months there is the Boundcon in Munich. Maybe i find something there.
>>7330917
Got a huge 2.2m x 1.2m vac bed from LatexCatfish a couple days ago. This morning was the first time I managed to get the vacuum to seal properly though (had to experiment a bit to cut off all the leaks). That feeling was something I will never forget.

Are you talking about the woman in OP's image? I forgot the name, but I believe she is a character from Earthworm Jim.
>>7346741
Uh, no. Woman is actually an OC of mine, same as the pally.
