A few thoughts to start the thread out. I saw this book somewhere recently.

1. V.C. Andrews was a real person who wrote Flowers in the Attic, but after her death in 1986, her name is being used by a ghostwriter to continue the gravy train. What would you think if this happened to you?

2. Broken Mirrors is apparently one of those books that changes first-person perspective from one of two characters in alternate chapters throughout the book, with the person being followed mentioned at the head of the chapter. I personally cannot STAND this technique. I only sort of liked it in Around the World in 80 Days, when Fogg was kidnapped and the chapter was about Passporteau trying to find him. But I also seldom write from a first-person perspective anyway. What do you think?

I've only read a few alternating first-person books, but the only issue I had is that if they don't explicitly state who the narrator is I never remember when I resume reading.

It's common to write third person in that style too (third person limited). I prefer it to an omniscient narrator because it's easier to identify with the main character when you're not distracted by information they couldn't know.

I remember two writefags in the feminization threads, one was writing a story up a lesbian succubus who turns her partner into a trap, then other was a sequel to that animal crossing forced-fem story. I'm curious as to if either of those was ever finished.

I do apologize to those who are waiting for the sequel. Since school started I haven't had time nor drive to be able to write anything aside from research papers. The writing I did manage to get done for it makes it about 1/2 done, and just not up to snuff of the first

I wanna write a story about a slave girl who gets temporarily released. Her masters figure she be healthy longer if they let her take breaks from work every once in a while so they set her loose for like a week at a time. There's no such thing as lesbian/gay in Borealan culture really, though some individuals may have strictly sexual preferences (for example Ursi kept female concubines because they were better at oral than the males).
That lends itself very much to those scenarios though, a Borealan would see nothing unusual in engaging in same-sex relationships and that could be very liberating for a human who was struggling with their sexuality. I've also had an idea. I've not quite read where the story went after Fineprint 1, just that the Polars got shipped to Russia. Maybe you could have UN involvement in the Polars, with concerns and general interest in the effects that a new planet's environment would have on the new generation's development Basically just regular medical checkups on young and growing Polar children, and long term studies on any psychological changes between the generations possibly caused planetary differences.
One of the young Polar girls gets all her checkups done by the same female doctor, and starts to bond and kind of view her as a fixed part of her life. As the Polar starts to grow and become aware of her own body, and the new thoughts that come with it, the regular physicals from the human kind of skews from what was once just something she had to do and got a lollipop for doing it, to something where she starts thinking about how the doctor is touching her and doesn't know why she enjoys the attention, to something that she actively seeks out and even starts making up illnesses and injuries to get more time with her doctor. Things progress from there as one would expect, with lots of exploration.
