I've read most of Supernova's stories over the years.

If you're a good songwriter then surely there's some difference in your song subjects. Not so with nova.

If all you make as an artist is the same song with the same beginning and ending then you're going to stay at the same level forever. Just like he did, that's probably why he came to /d/, to impress the easily impressed.

Supernova has been around for years but he's also plateaued for years, his inspiration is stale or his soul is dead whatever, while Frenchsnack in comparison just got better with each story. Ignoring his regrettable Felarya vignettes, French Snack has a range of vore settings. If you go into Supernova's profile most of the stories are the same; it's just X gets shrunk, X gets found, X gets eaten, digestion scene for a page. Also Supernova has a habit of introducing like five female preds and not describe what they look like or give them different personalities.

Also Supernova prefers to tell and not show, when the best writer's prefer to show and not tell.

Better giantess writers to emulate would be Frenchsnack, poisonpen, or Jacksmith, or that Chekhov guy that teams up with Molotov to write his stories.

And the biggest no no would be not to use "your vagina" as a badge demanding respect. Good writing earns that on its own.

Also it's hard to just ignore Frenchsnack's Felarya stories, they're like 80% of his work at this point. I can't stand Millie or any of the characters associated with her, but he's made a few cute one shots in Felarya aside from that.

Hard for me to really say, but I think it would be interesting if I read a story where I really, genuinely felt sorry for the prey in a scenario, like reading fiction and having a real hope for the protagonist to pull through and survive some sort of struggle.

Usually they are empty characters or the author decides to awkwardly assign some sort of negative piece to them so it somehow justifies their fate. Though I completely understand why the character would be empty given the nature of smut, so maybe it doesn't actually matter.

It has been said many times before as well, but authors that can somehow balance smut/plot/character development and pace them out well are very rare, maybe it's asking way too much and too subjective to really be a proper thing in the first place.
