Scrolling by, wanna offer a quick couple of thoughts:
Belly stuffing is similar to inflation. Some are into it for the illusion of fertility, theme of excess, idea of the girl ending up immobile and helpless, and probably other concepts.

BBW/Weight Gain has the excess and immobility, but tends to forego the "pregnant" look. "Fat rolls" also become a focus more often.
Fat rolls bring to mind sweaty crevices, which bring to mind hygiene issues, which triggers a feeling of repulsion in most folks. This kills the boner. Hence the backlash when weight gain is posted in belly stuffing threads.

As for the divide between BBW and Weight Gain, I have no idea.

This, the thing like about Huurin is that he's not afraid to add things like sag and a bit of celulite in his design/style he still finds ways of making the characters cute and charming by either their attire or personalities he also draws them struggling with their weight allot like needing special machines or devices etc. being out of breath etc.

The think that makes him such a good fat artist is that he's more unique than the standard that are more concerned about trying to make it less repulsive, Huurin adds those things in and makes them a charm point instead of a grotesque eyesore ( mileage will obviously vary on the viewer "eye of the beholder" ) but I appreciate his stuff in these threads even more than Squarewave29

while both are great in their own ways one offers just a bit more while the other is not much different than you'd see from other asian or even some western artist.

Who knows, the ways I've seen this go is that he'll try to get more and more secluded about how he goes sharing his work, to the point where he will just do a hard break in one direction or another in that he will either just finally open up and everyone is happy, or he will quit drawing altogether because he can't handle the idea people want to actually show him off.

Never stated, but the dude was pretty much just out of highschool when he started sharing his work so I imagine it might be having any sort of mark on the internet tracing back to him that he wants to control, on top of controlling how his art reaches people like certain artists go ape shit over.

This is all just theory anyways, but we do know he really hates people sharing his work which is why he kept backing away from everything more as time went on.

Well he originally brought that english message precisely because of reposting.
Deleting his work however I can't talk about, he sometimes reposts it later so maybe it's a case of the usual artist hating past work or this particular art and just taking it down on a whim and then reneging on it later.
