imps are omnivourouse, and can willing to eat virtually anything, and have incredibly resillient stomachs, however in the wild there diet mostly concists of berries, variouse beetles and other hard shelled insects, toad stools and variouse other fruiting fungi. they are particular partial to chestnuts.

Imps gain food by foraging, and have no hunting or grazing instinct, and will simply roam the area surrounding there burrow/home for edible matter, and will carry anything they don't eat on the spot in a pot/flask.

Imps are nesting animals that create a single under ground home and live there, rarely moving unless highly desired. Imps are seen as fairly hedonistic creatues, and will gorge themselves on any food thay have with spare, and will lazilly lie down and/or sleep while not rumaging, Imps however, are still rather intelegent creatures, and awhile unable to learn to speak english or any other human dialect, they are more then capable of reading and writing, and are even capable of speaking there own languages. Imps communicate through human sounding grunts, squeels, and have a relatively simple language consisting of a single sound or tone for a single word or expressoin. for example a growl is a threat.

Imps have fairly sophisticated home structures, and often make very makeshift furniture out of bones, nut shells, twigs and large insect shells, and often make flasks and pots our ot hollowed out nut shells or small rodents skulls. Imps rarely wear clothing, and when they do it usually does little to cover them up, such as a hat made out of a birds beak

biology wise imps almost identicle to humans however on a much smaller scales. imps however do have a fairly unique digestive system, as it produces no fecal matter whatsoeever, this is likely to avoid hygenic issues during mating season. Imps have small wings which allows them to fly short distances however they must rest often when flying as it is incredibly tiring for them.

Imps reproduce in a very strange manor, as male imps do not exist in the wild and can only be created by exposing a pregnant imp to specific hormones.
Imps reproduce by taking in the semen of humans, elves and brownies. this is an interesting process, as the initial sex is performed on the anal cavity, where the imp who has collected the semen will carry it back to the burrow where it will be used by the other imps who are brooding to impregnate themselves. Imps are willing to mate all season round and will take a male who shows signs of willingness at any time regardless of weather they or any other female in the coloy is currently brooding or not.
this has been intergrated into some parts of brownie culture, for example norher brownies have the yearly festival known as "schummin vaulksh" roughly translating to "Imp filling". although it is frowned upon some bachelors keep "pet" imps due to this trait.
