Hi, /efg/!

I'm a visitor from another general, namely, /agdg/ from /vg/. They are amateur game devs. Part of the culture there is to give fan arts to other's OCs occasionally. It's good for motivation, not to mention that they end up pretty lewd most of the time. I thought, hey, I haven't wrote anything for almost 3 years now, so I decided to write some fan fics just for fun, because why not. It turned out to be a therapy for me. When I stopped years ago I got a burn out, even though I've just started to gain ground in my mother tongue's literature. But now I feel like a child again, just as when I started. I write simply for the joy of creation, and it's amazing.

However I'm not sure if my English writing is good or not, so I started to seek where could I get some feedback. I don't think these writings are /lit/ material, and in /u/'s fan fic general it's all shitposting at the moment. Lucky for me, I always loved /d/'s community, and I was happy to see that you have these generals, and they're also very active.

How do you guys feel about minor squick/body horror?

I have an idea I want to write, but am concerned that a lot of people will be turned away because of this. I should mention that this isn't the "erotic" part of the story, but rather part of a plot device in order to get to the eroticism; which I admit will probably turn off just as many people because it involves transformation bordering on body horror and oviposition with a male.

I... have reached a very odd place in a story I'm writing at present, and I'm not really sure how to go about it from here.

The story so far; these four women have been captured and violated by an alien beastie. It's now secured them in its lair and basically wandered off.

In time, the spawn it has planted within them will mature and the story will move onto the next phase, but for now I'm trying to figure out how to fill this space in the story, where these four are basically just stuck in place with nothing to do.

BMC-0177-1 refers to the automaton component of BMC-0177. The separated upper and lower halves of BMC-0177-1 are to be referred to as BMC-0177-1A and BMC-0177-1B respectively. The organism contained within BMC-0177-B is recorded as BMC-0177-2.

A seminal-nutrient chemical is supplied to BMC-0177-2 via an automatic foliar feeding system. Direct contact with BMC-0177-2 is not recommended but has thus far proved unharmful.

== Description ==

BMC-0177 is the entity formed from a symbiotic relationship between a 2.1 m humanoid automaton and a sentient organism resembling the Darlingtonia californica. BMC-0177-1 is constructed from various metal and synthetic materials. Multiple internal details have been identified as holstered military-grade weapons and wireless communication devices, but have since been determined inoperable.

BMC-0177-2 is a carnivorous life-form that relies on digesting captured prey to supplement insufficient nutrient requirements. BMC-0177-2 has effectively grown within the confines of BMC-0177-1B, modifying its root structure to resemble a womb within BMC-0177-1’s pelvic region. Its tubular leaves form fully-functional female genitalia at the groin of BMC-0177-1, using the feminine appearance of BMC-0177-1 to attract human males to mate with organic portion. The relationship between BMC-0177-1 and BMC-0177-2 has since been categorized as commensal; the data gained by BMC-0177-1 does not require a secondary organism to obtain, while BMC-0177-2 is heavily dependant on the physical appearance of BMC-0177-1.

It is theorized that without this host, BMC-0177-2 might take (and might’ve previously taken) root inside of a human female. So far, no such records of this occurring exist, and such an experiment has been deemed unnecessary to take.

Don't worry about it. Just something to remember from now on. I do have a few comments to make about it, however, if you're willing to listen.

Stylistically, the influence from the SCP Foundation is obvious. So much so that it looks less like it's an original work and more like someone copypasted some of the pages and added more references to sex in them. Even the in-universe terminology is exactly the same as the SCP's. At best, it's derivative. At worst, it borders on plagiarism.

The way the entries are written are much too dry and scientific to really titillate, and for obvious reasons there are no real "characters" for the readers to relate to. Even the people who might be interested in the fetishes inherent to the entries would be hard-pressed to get off to them.

I get what you're trying to do here, but it just doesn't work out very well in practice. At the end of the day, the SCP style is better suited for creepypasta than for lewds.

If I had to make a recommendation for improving it, you should consider altering the terminology, style, and format of the writing so it's less of a blatant derivative of the SCP wiki. The fact I could identify it as the SCP style despite not being on that site in years is not a good sign for it. It would be better for your site to become its own thing, since if nothing else you would no longer need to be constrained to one format for the entries.

In short, SCP foundation isn't really going to get into walking cockbeasts and other "extreme" stuff. While the writing is dry and clinical, this is done on purpose, as the organization isn't going to let its guards fuck the things it's trying to contain, and to provide an air of mystery. While they will carefully catalogue what these things do, they're more interested in keeping them on lockdown.

This leaves the tales/diaries open to explore them in a more smutty setting without causing too much suspension of disbelief, and providing a menagerie of characters and concepts for writers to play with.
