My understanding is he doesn't want the model released or shared very much because it's blatantly unfinished and very embarrassing to him as a modeler, as it was basically just a very quickly put together thing he made for personal use. First real game about GTS stuff with H-scenes too, in which you could interact with the giantess instead of just reading or watch a CG. We didn't have any game like this one before. RPG part was crap, but the GTS was superb enough to go through it.

Unfortunately, right now we have many other content available that surpasses Shrink High, but it's still considered the game that started the boom of good GTS games. Ochiko did some, URU is doing a really good one and there's some free ones like "The world at the palm of my hand" that offer good stuff too. It's kinda like how the Monster Girl Encyclopedia started the boom of Monster Girl based stuff.

This answer is partially right; its a game that actually has the balls to pass as, well, an actual game as opposed to a VN or a CG slideshow, but it also has so many high quality CGs (a number that has yet to be surpassed iirc; in the 200s or so) that it could count as a respectable source of fetish content.
I disagree about the RPG part being crap (at least objectively), or about newer games being "better" than it. The RPG part clearly has some cachet and level of worth; people still remember the characters names, actions, and what they're associated with. This doesn't apply to any other fetish game as of yet (besides maybe Ari no Tsurugi or Issunboshi's, but their CG amounts and quality pales by comparison)
Uru's game is closer to a VN, and doesn't seem to have memorable characters besides Megumi and the Demon King (?); Ochiko's games are half-finished messes with decent CGs. Shrink High Gaiden was indeed shit by comparison.
In summary, Shrink High *was* indeed the first size game that offered a full-course meal rather than just any one part of it (CG simulators being like desserts only; no CG games like AnT being only meat and potatoes with nothing to wash it down with, and stuff like Uru's game being like... a vegetable dinner with some good dessert)

Dungeon Traveller 2 in PSVita is an example for this (grindy, CG pop up when you defeat a boss which happen every 2 hours but no one complain about that)
Uru game is adventure novel with all content can be access in 2 hours with a guide and main story is barely progressed.

I could never get into grinding and playing the game normally. I'm pretty much only interested in fapping, and I've only ever looked at the SH CG's. I played like the first half hour and got bored, It would be nice if there was a SH that was just walking around and doing the GTS scenes. This is basically what Little Snatcher is, and I think it's pretty much exactly right for me in terms of gameplay vs. gts content, kinda surprised more of you didn't mention it.

As opposed to what? It's a porn game. SH was like that too, except making the "played" and "fapped" part significantly more of a chore than they have to be. It tries too hard to be an "actual game" but no sane man would play it for the gameplay & story when there are actual JRPGs- even indie ones, even (vanilla) porn ones- on the market that do an infinitely better job at it than that.

On the topic of Shrink High and other similar games...

What are your favorite GTS games?
I think Little Snatcher has the best/most interesting gameplay mechanics out of any of the ones i've played so far... There's something genuinely terrifying about trying to escape from giantesses in that game.
I liked the GTS scenes in Shrink High the most for some reason though, I think like other people pointed out it's the context that matters for that game.

I can't count how many faps I had in the midgame. It was kind of embarrassing to have to go to the bathroom in the middle of a fight because of an 'Ass Crush' attack.
I still feel its the most comprehensive size experience out of the games that currently exist

On a somewhat size related note, I acquired one of those VR-phone headsets over the holidays. And I'm ashamed to say how much of a difference it made for those 360 videos, especially with headphones on.

There's actually software that allows you to treat it like an Oculus rift for vidya, meaning you could use it for shit like Half-Life (or any other first person game where you use mouse-look), or the odd 3D size game. Essentially it just streams what's on your computer screen to your phone, so you still use your keyboard and whatnot to control.

All in all, pretty neat.
