there will be two perks, expert googler and fitness nut. i usually skip fitness nut since there are higher priorities early on and it becomes irrelevant around 30s or so, but expert googler is something i do get eventually, as after getting all daytime character traits i keep raising lust cap.

in general, if i had to stick minimum stat requirements for a strong and versatile seduction build:

It's an easy way to turn shitty slaves into money, but it breaks them pretty quickly and it pisses off the neighbours. It also has an upgrade to turn broken slaves into fuckdolls, which are good for a permanent source of zero-upkeep income.

An industrial arcade will make more money from the same raw material over the long run, though it has much higher set-up costs. On the other hand, Degradationist arcologies get bonuses to the arcade and the neighbours don't get pissy any more, so it's even better.

There's also a fairly common scene where a rebellious slave in the arcade will promise to be obedient if you let her out. It's not 100% reliable but it is efficient.

Most of the games posted here are still in development, so playing them for a bit then dropping them to play something else and so on means that when you come back to it a few months later its updated and got better.

I tried Night Games again because of your post, after having long since forgotten about it. It is better than I remembered, yes. But in its early stages at least, it's still both strategically and emotionally shallow compared to Free Cities. It's even graphically inferior, which is a bit of an achievement. I don't see any point in playing further. If the writing is bad at the beginning (and it is) then it won't get better later on.

You don't have to like FC but that guy can write. And he understands and cares about subtleties of the mechanics of sex scenes and of emotional interplay between characters. He's worlds beyond what this other dude is doing.

God other dude hasn't even changed away from the default Metal look-and-feel for Swing yet. IT TAKES LIKE SIX LINES OF CODE. You can use a Windows style or the curvy-buttons Nimbus style; either one is much prettier than Metal. But dude is a total amateur so Metal is what we get.

I prefer FC's raw situational delivery through the reports/vignettes than I do the event sex scenes. The main reason FC doesn't feel like a cluster-fuck in writing is because he's stayed consistent to the theme and doesn't bend-over backwards to include fetishes or themes purely because people want it. NG however, is in-fact that cluster-fuck, the game is so un-godly open to anything as long as you can jam it in the game, it will potentially function and be balanced towards in some manner or another even if it clashes with another theme or ideal. Surprisingly I found this one short tentacle slime CYOA game on some British literature site of all things that I actually liked a bit.

The struggle is real. Pretty much everything is incomplete and functionally dead, and you'll have to engage in some mental gymnastics around certain content, but there are things that aren't completely bad.

Potential leads:
"Apotheosis" is hit and miss, has some good stories in it.
"Devious Worlds" is even more incomplete, and has a ton of furry shit, but it's like the above.
"Student Transfer" and "Press Switch" are more VN-ish, also largely incomplete, but there's some complete routes.
"Into The Dungeon" is more complete, has some decent chapters once you get past the beginning parts.
"Only the Good Die Young" is notable for the fun writing, but mechanically weak.
"Pleasures of the Knight" is not bad, even if the writer is bad at writing ero stuff.
"Inner Bimbo" has CYOA, a narritive, and is a bit better than most stuff, but it doesn't exactly shine in quality writing.
"The Succubus Next Door" has more CYOA elements, but not a whole lot of ero content.
"Darkness Falls Quolara" is surprisingly decent, but look up a guide because the creator makes games that are way too goddamn difficult for what they are.

NG mod author here. Surprised people are people are playing it. It's kind of funny that the mod lives on fenoxo's forums when I haven't played anything by him since CoC, but it is what it is I guess.

Honestly I made the mod to please myself. I know my writing is pretty crappy, so not much I can say about that. It'll probably never be as polished as something like FC or even the original game.

The male/female preference slider is kind of a dumb, half-baked feature that increases the likelihood your opponent will buy an item that makes the target/imbiber grow a penis and not much else. There's a special option you can choose when you start a new game that gives you all male opponents, though I believe they're just slightly refluffed versions of the female characters right now. You can also edit the save file, but that's a bit messy to do and doesn't include male scenes, just gameplay stuff.

Right now, the game simply isn't geared toward that sort of thing. A character creator was recently released and is being tweaked to be more user-friendly, so maybe check back in the future.

Wealth. It gives you more money to play with to create some starting girls with to bring with you into the game. For your first game, I'd recommend making them Devoted, but giving them a bunch of flaws to keep the cost down. Question: would you rather there be a low-key futa PC option, or no futa PC option? I can do the former, but there are going to be a lot of scenes in which the PC's pussy just isn't mentioned.

Alternatively, a properly built Concubine can nearly handle your rep by herself. Also, every time rep degenerates, a hidden floor on rep is raised, so keep at it and it'll get easier.

Anon who's been having issues with Free Cities. I'm not sure if anyone here knows what I did to fuck up Free Cities but for whatever reason I can't seem to get passed Day 49, it simply just doesn't load, and leaves me with a blank page.

I did however manipulate the about:config for Firefox, letting me make it run faster but I haven't the slightest clue what might be conflicting the game and the changes I made from this link...

You could try reinstalling the browser.
Otherwise you can just use a different one if the issue persists.

Is this a completely fresh start, played on the same version from the beginning to the problem point?
How many slaves do you have when it gets to week (not day) 49?
How many upgrades and other stuff have you purchased?
How much reputation and money?
Does the problem persist if you basically just cruise through the game without really doing anything (i.e. just keep hammering that "Next Week" button and only making a choice when you can't skip it with "Continue")?

I know it probably wouldn't be done, as its a niche fetish, but I'd love to be able to immobilize girls through their weight in FC.

So far, since I've started I've done two playthroughs, both ending on Week 49. My first playthrough was before 0.9.1 or whatever one he just released last night and today was the newest update. Both of them ended on Week 49 when it gives you a update about the world before it goes to Day 50, I just get a blank screen.

I think I might have four or five regular slaves whoring/Head Girl with maybe three our four in the Milking place, usually a Bodyguard as well (I always take the muscle girl from the Slave Hunt)

I'm trying to think of what else.

First playthrough I had 135k because the Merc Leader wanted my slave. Second playthrough I had around 20k.
Had a handful of upgrades from Kitchen, Clinic, School (First Playthrough Only) and Cells to try and break in Jenny in my second playthrough.

Never tried to just click through past Day 49 without anything else.

Just restarted again, using Chrome only and not on my about:configged modified Firefox to see if it persist.

I know it probably wouldn't be done, as its a niche fetish, but I'd love to be able to restrict girls in their peeing routine in FC.

Same player here who's been having issues. Using Chrome now on a fresh download and playthrough (my third one) and I'm still noticing Errors in the game, which could possibly lead to the eventually Week 49 Freeze.

I didn't freeze on week 49, but at week 48 I got that rep bug that pops up every now and again. The one where you're rep turns into (rep$) But this is a particularly nasty version. I used to be able to just disable a policy or two or change the jobs of my slaves but nothing worked, it also fucked up my arcology population

If the engine can't handle it, you're obviously not playing the way it's supposed to be played. Also, unless you buy a lot of slaves in one turn, the slow-down should be gradual, so you should be able to realize, without there being a notice, that the engine is overworking itself.

if i write a program
and i allow the user to manipulate variables
i always limit what can be entered because if i don´t it will be possible to do something that i don´t intend to be entered

now if i intend you to be able to add a million to an array
then that is the way it is meant to be used
even if it slows to a crawl
it´s not the users responsibility to check for such things but mine to limit them

Isn't that how it's always been? If something is supposed to be played a certain way, you don't pick an engine that won't allow the players to play the game how it's intended.

The developer shouldn't need to implement a limit in the game when there is already one on the engine, since it should be obvious that what the engine can't support, the game won't either. Just like it should be obvious that you shouldn't jump off a building and then complain when you get injured saying that there was nothing stopping you from jumping off so you figured you might as well do so.

I have a solution for you.
A while ago I bought 100 slaves within the same week and put them in the arcade. I noticed a massive slowdown. I asked FC dev about it and he told me that having 100 slaves at week 200 is outside of the scope of the game.
So here's my solution, it's in two parts:
1.) Play with less slaves
2.) Get rid of that extra chromosome you're carrying.
