I only read up to chapter 27 so far. The yandere is a fair bit diluted with the ambient fuckedupness everywhere, so Mashiro doesn't actually feel as overbearing as, say, Gasai.

“I helped put the dishes out, you know. I did a good job too, praise me too!” She looked up at him innocently, and he couldn't help but pat her on the head too. This got him a empty glare from Naya, but he could deal with that when the time comes.

“Come on, let's go eat breakfast. You come too, Anesaki.” He beckoned to his wife, and snatched the kitchen knife out of Michi's hand. She moaned a little in despair at being discovered, but it was better than the alternative.

“Yes.” The reply was completely deadpan, and the glare that accompanied it chilled him. However, as long as that was all that happened, he could take it.

Naya lead them all out to the kitchen, where there were small stacks of pancakes arranged on small orange plates. He praised Naya once again, and she was simply delighted.

“Again, that's not breakfast talk. If you have something to talk about with me, you always know that I'm available, just not when we're all together like this.” He paused, and Naya almost began to start a new tirade. However, he needed to lay down another ground rule.

“You girls both know that I love you both equally. I love Mommy too, so she doesn't have to worry about that. As long as I'm around, I'll make sure to love you all in equal shares, so you shouldn't feel like you're being left out.”

“But I should be the only one allowed to love Daddy...” Michi mumbled under her breath, but he had learned that those words were the most important of all in this family. He could ignore it for now, he thought.

He finally took a bite of his pancake, and it tasted pretty normal for once.

Oh no, wait, there it was. The hint of copper and iron. When Naya cooked, she liked to include her own “special ingredients”. He really needed to talk about that with her, hurting herself was no way to show her love.

“Exactly.” She shot him a smile, which was somehow scarier than all of her gazes combined. He shuddered, and the family ate in silence from there on.

Finally, the time came to go to school. They all packed in the car, of course fighting heavily over the precious seat next to Daddy. However, Anesaki won as always, after she asserted her power over the others. They drove to the high school in silence. Finally, they stopped in front of the school, and opened the door to let Naya out.

“Haha, now I have Daddy all to myself.” Michi laughed at Naya, truly enjoying the fact that she would be with her father for slightly longer than Naya would be.

“Don't think so, squirt. You're only in there for 15 minutes more.” Naya giggled in response, and trotted off to school. The door closed, and they drove towards Michi's elementary school.

“I feel kind of sick, Daddy. Can I stay home with you?” Michi clutched her stomach, in pretend pain. To reply, Anesaki slowly turned in her seat, glaring madly at her own child.

“If you were sick, I would be able to tell. You are not sick. You are faking. Do not think I cannot tell, because I can. Trying to get any more time together with Daddy will get you... punished. You have had enough time with him for now, and Mommy needs time with him as well. So don't pretend.”

At last, they pulled up to Michi's elementary school, and opened the door. She reluctantly got out, but with a little push the two adults were able to get her to go to school. She went through the gate towards some children playing, and she ran up to one in particular, one that had long hair and looked a little like the father.

“Good morning!” She approached him cheerfully, and he looked up in confusion. A look of recognition dawned on his face, and he greeted her back.

“Hey, who's that? I haven't seen her much here before!” Another girl around Michi's age trotted up to the two, and the blonde girl embraced the boy playfully, before punching him.

“...Who is she, Saigi?” He was shocked, as he looked at Michi sending the glare, the glare that was reserved for him only, at this new girl. That glare, which promised pain and suffering if you got near the one she loved.
