Hey nons. Question for anyone around: is it safe to say that Eka's Portal is like... the primary source of vorish/giantess-type art these days? I know people post stuff on DA too, but Eka's seems like the only place that welcomes anything and everything along those lines, and I haven't found another site like it.

For western based art, yeah. The eastern artists stick to pixiv, gsuploader or just twitter. There's also boorus/giantesslove but those are usually the place to get content as a secondary source.

The main problem with Eka's, or DA for that matter is a good image will go up, then 5 minutes later it will be buried beneath a torrent of complete shit. I'm not even talking about 'thing I don't like' I just mean content that is objectively garbage.

I don't think there's any good way to do it. Latest artist to upload goes to the top of the list, then there's some content filters you need to check to see stuff like vore a lot of the time.

There used to be a vore/endosoma uploader as well, but I can't find it anymore.

Do it! I started learning recently for the same reason. It's hard as hell and I'm nowhere where I want to be yet but it's still fun.

It's one of the few things where having an obscure fetish with low amounts of content is actually to your advantage. It must be so much harder to stay motivated if everything you want to draw has been done before by people 200x better than you.

I could do a first story for free if you're not confident in my skills, and as for money, I wanted to do something with patreon. Maybe pay on a per-story basis, so more people can read the stories for less money.
Example: if ten people pay me per story, I'll make just as much as when I would sell a single story to a single person, but with less financial strain per patreon

People are saying it's dead because of how commercialized it has become, most artists are using patreon (good for them, they need money too) but some are hiding everything behind a paywall and/or releasing very occasional content that's heavily censored.

Plus, some artists have had meltdowns (and others threatened to stop drawing for good) because their pay2view comics were leaked online. (No shit your pay2view content is going to be leaked.)

There's also lots of new artists who don't even care about vore, they only draw it because it's niché and people are willing to pay lots for commissions.

The fetish isn't dead, but it's getting more diluted as the community grows bigger.
