Still can't understand the amputee guys at >>7069733 - it's so dull to have a girl who can't even react properly. Let's have cyberlimbs.
There are precious few images floating around. Bear with me.
Yeah, this is already scraping the barrel.

Artificial limbs + monster girl, the best of both worlds :3
Non-human augmentations can be fun too.
Mind-controlled floaty hands look really fun

These are some of the most huggable fuckin' cyborgs I've ever seen.

Aww. :3
>>7086147
I want a girl like that (or better yet, like the one in OP's pic - I just like that MGS4-esque style of cyborg), that's all shy and insecure about her prostheses. I don't know why, but it just seems like an oddly cute concept that makes me want to hug and comfort them.
>>7086153
Too bad that the closest and most adorable real life example does not belong on this board.
I want to see pleasure receptors stimulated so that the mechanical women are made to be incredibly aroused. This includes both the brain, neural interface ports, and the pussy
>>7086702
Some sort of chastity belt sort of rig could be fun too. Have both a conventional vibrator/dildo and a direct interface with the nerves in the clitoris, for ALL the stimulation.
I wish we could get more of /d/'s artists to draw this sort of stuff. I've thrown out a few cyborg ideas on the drawthreads and had absolutely no luck.

Turning girls into limbless walking weapons in XCOM:EU was such a turn on for me.
Some of these are venturing into android territory but you can always pretend those were living humans who went with full body replacement/augmentation. Like Motoko/Batou.

The psychological aspect is interesting too. Has she lost her limbs due to an accident? Did meningitis hit her hard so they had to be amputated? Was it her own choice?

I've always had a weird fascination with the whole "being voluntarily turned into a cyborg" thing. I'm not really sure why, either.
>>7107837
I enjoy the idea of a positive transhuman experience, cybernetic or not
>>7108017
It honestly creeps me out, but in a "can't look away" sort of way that for whatever reason is kind of hot.
There is a lot wrong with my brain.
>>7108125
I don't think it's "wrong". If anything, I'm the more tweaked one. I don't think being willing to so quickly modify my own body wouls be considered "normal".
Seeing something "normal" (a human body) having been altered so dramatically is, in a way, unnerving for sure. Uncanny Valley and such.
I will volunteer to become cyborg, think about it, you can shape your body whatever you want. Control whatever technologies with your brain. Then, increase your life span. Tell me reason why not?

I know this feel. I think it's sort of like the so-called self-actualization or self-realization where you will yourself into being a better person (or whatever you want to be), only in a more physical sense.
>>7108847
Kinda. To me, I regret my human limitations, that I am ONLY human. At least physically, and also mentally. I don't mean in the sense of being an imperfect creature the result of biological chance that lives in a society full of the samesuch creatures, I mean that there are limitations on my being on my capabilities in the physical and mental realms. Basically, I'm not "superhuman" physically or mentally.
This is one of the most crushing aspects of the human condition in my opinion, being so metaphorically limited

>>7111159
Fuckin' metal. Fucking. Metal.
Does current tech count?
>>7112151
Nope, its just a normal disabilty.
So, here's a fun idea that sprang to mind recently. I'm sure I'm probably unintentionally stealing most of this from somewhere, probably GitS, but whatever.
Imagine a future where brain/machine interfaces aren't just functional, but common--just about everybody has a brainjack they can use to browse the net or whatever via direct neural interface. This obviously leads to new forms of entertainment that involve direct feeds of all the senses, not just sight and sound, but it culminates in the next level of telepresence--connecting to an android body via the internet and controlling it remotely, allowing you to move and act as if it were your own body and experience all its senses. Latency could be an issue at long distances, but as long as you're on the same continent it's probably not much worse than being a bit drunk.
This revolutionizes business and travel, obviously--no more screwing with clunky conference calls, and tourists can visit tourist destinations by just renting a body at the location and jacking into it. Much like car rental, body rental facilities offer a wide variety of options so that everybody can find a body that's familiar to them--or, to try something new.
Just IMAGINE what it'd do to the sex and dating industry.
>>7112422
(too long)
Picture it: a love hotel that doesn't accept any guests--instead, it has a collection of attractive android bodies in every shape and size, accommodating every taste, and all the rooms are open for anyone to use. From anywhere in the world, people can log in to the hotel's website, rent a body for the evening, and jack into it over the internet; from there, they'll be free to do whatever they want with any of the other guests, all in bodies that are not their own, with no consequences and total anonymity--you can be whoever you want and do whatever you want, with whoever you want, all night long, like a masquerade ball taken to a ludicrous extreme.
Maybe one night you'll be a man, another night a woman; another night you're a bit of both (because of course that'd be an option.) Maybe, you'll handcuff your rental body to a bed and leave the door open, see who comes by. One night you and the other guests try to get organized, and you find all the guests using the same model of android and you have an orgy of a dozen perfectly identical twins. The sky's the limit.
For a hilarious mental image--imagine what this would all look like from the staff's perspective: to the outside observer, it would look like a hotel full of a hundred or so people in a constant, 24/7 orgy. Everyone involved seems to have random fainting spells, only to awaken moments later with no memories and a different personality, going right back to it like it's all new to them. Nobody ever eats, drinks, sleeps, or leaves--just boning like animals, all the time.
Imagine a world where we are cyborg, the racism will disappear, because there is no such "body shaming". Fuck this flesh and bone that leading us to a war cause by skin color. Screw to be a human being.
There's a lot of art of Pharah from Overwatch with robot arts and sometimes legs. Not sure if there's any LEWD art with that, but it would be greatly appreciated if someone had some.
>>7112548
One of her alternative skins seems to turn her into a full-prosthetic cyborg. But alt skins aren't canon.
>>7112571
Most of her skins including stock one feature either single or double hinge joints, totally unfit for putting human limbs through, so at least everything below elbows and knees is artificial. Though with their 2070s tech (particularly teleporters), I won't be surprised if it actually works like Striker Unit from Strike Witches, just putting her limbs elsewhere when she wears the suit.
>>7112680
No, it's just a cartoon so proportions aren't always consistent.
>>7112861
It's not about proportions, it's about the mechanics of this type of joint that make fitting something pinchable and somewhat solid inside impossible. Trust me, I'm an engineer.
>>7112895
I do sort of agree with you, but the problem is that blizzard has specifically stated they are not artificial limbs, even if the official lore folks seem to not be on the same page as the model designers (This is blizzard though, its always a fucking clusterfuck lore wise)
>>7112422
>probably not much worse than being a bit drunk.
I bet it would be worse than you think, as just a few tens of milliseconds delay can totally ruin an old video game, the ability to type quickly on a keyboard, or even the ability to remain standing...
However, there is a fairly simple (well, in theory, maybe not in implementation) solution. Have the user not in complete control of certain things like walking, and have a local processor handle the things that require fast responses and do the walking for you. It just needs to interpret a few signals to have it stand up, keep your balance automatically while walking, etc.
>>7112680
this was confirmed by one of the writers as non canon. i guess a character designer didn't get the memo.
You know what's hot? When the controller for all your limbs gets hacked and someone else is controlling them against your will.
Imagine being helpless as your unseen hijacker manipulates your limbs to begin exploring every inch of your own body, making you do all sorts of nasty, lewd things to yourself. Or maybe he'll walk you right out the door naked into a crowded area, making you expose yourself and masturbate in front of total strangers.
>>7113701
You can change your face after that, because youre a cyborg after all. So hard right now
I've got a huge transhumanism boner. As soon as the technology is there, I will gladly cast away my flesh and become one with the machine.

>>7114752
>>7114748
Humanity is worth keeping: out helps define us as a species and as individuals. The meat-puppet bodies, however, can definitely be upgraded.
As uncomfortable as it may sound, I like the idea of cyborg bodies better than purely robotic. Flesh feels nice, such as a woman's body who feels the same about a man's, but the limitations are undesirable
>>7114755
>>7114757
Kind of ironic that I have to confirm that I'm not a robot to post in the thread where I explicitly expressed my desire to become one.

>>7114765
What a shame, because that cutie cyborg looks like the kind of girl that I like.
>>7114760
Cyborg monstergirls are such a great combination.
>>7114756
I like the way transhumanism was presented in the 1995 Ghost in the Shell film. The change was gradual, but sure. First, military prosthetics. Then, technology is open to the public. After a while, full-body cyborgs aren't that uncommon, this actually becomes a preference for certain lines of work due to the benefits. And finally, the distinction between a full-body cyborg human and a robot with advanced AI becomes so minimal, they become compatible for the fusion of their consciousnesses and the end goal of technological evolution. It truly is a beautiful world.
>>7114772
That is definitely one of the best possible futures regarding the technologies
>>7114772
Do you see the new GiTS trailer, where Scarlett Johansson on the operation table with half of her body part are robot, it turn me on like a god damn trainwreck
>the year is 20XX
>all humans have become robo
>the last flesh and blood human died long ago
>no one has ever met a pre robo era human
>there are only stories of these ancient beings who were made of cells and not metal
>some robo humans have a fetish for living breathing flesh and blood humans

Even if I went full conversion I wouldn't get any kind of wireless connectivity. Input work around so I don't need to use a remote/controller/kbm? Sure. WiFi in the brain? No. The farthest I'd go is a 3.5mm or whatever is the standard then to get audio directly to the brain circuits.
>>7114772
It's one of my favorite movies because of those themes you described.
>>7114772

Reminds me of the endgame in megaman.
Rock is an android designed to grow, the longer he's online, the more human he seems.
X was obviously robotic, but mentally so human he was eligible for citizenry.
In zero reploids could be so human they were indistinguishable without a microscope.
ZX they were advanced enough to breed with us, and fully cross compatible with human components, leading to legal sanctions requiring an artificial life span for all beings.
???
Legends sees the end of the human race, what's left are "Carbons", which are a race of truly living biological machines so human they are indistinguishable down to the DNA.
>>7121869
It's funny that, for a franchise that isn't particularly story-driven, the Mega Man timeline has surprisingly compelling lore, as well as one of the brightest cyberpunk-ish futures.
>>7085103

Or scary, depending of how you look at it. I remember this one episode of Stand Alone Complex where one member of the Major's team is being stalked by his crazy ex-wife/girlfriend.
She goes so far as to get a prosthetic body that looks exactly like him and downloads a copy of his memories. The episode ends with one of them dying, but you don't know if its the guy or the yandere woman. But in the end it doesn't matter really matter. Even if its the woman it doesn't matter, she has essentially become him.
Anyway, back to fapping to the Borg.

The good thing about being a human brain transplanted into a prosthetic body is that you have a higher chance of survival in disasters.
The downside is that if the authorities think your brain and life support are safe your cries for help will largely be iqnored while they assist the wounded unaugmented.
>>7132649

Alex sat on the cold, hard wooden floor boards of her small appartment on the west side of the city. It had been a measly 3 weeks since she had bought her first upgrade from tritech systems. In that time she had sold the bedside cabinet that once stood where she now sits, along with all the valuables inside of it.
She could hear the soft, audible click of metal against metal as she slid her left hand into her nether regions - what she had come to think of - as a joke at first, but now she was less certain - as her "port". Wells of pleasure beamed their way up to her head. She was almost certain she could feel the transistors heat up in her spinal column as the data shot it's way skyward; the almost impercepibly alien feeling of temperature gauges changing their resistance as the surge moved. Of course, she could be imagining it, her perceptions always got a little glitchy whenever she reached orgasm. Yes, she could see it now, playing it back in her mind over and over, the subtle fuzz at the corner of her vision, the slight feeling that her joints had displaced when they had not. Colour flooded into her mind and with it feelings and memories of intense pleasure.
Click. One joint further into her connection to a world of bliss. She remembers vividly the first day - after the accident - that she awoke, heart pounding, mind racing, vision flickering to adjust. She hadn't heard the doctors as the explained exactly what they had done, she only moved her hand up to her cold, frim lip, feeling like a a stranger in her own skin. Now she relives those memories in a new light, remembering each and every tingle and pulse that reverberated through her lips, jaw and mind. She knew that she shouldn't have changed the response configurations on her unit - of course she did, everyone knew the risks. But after the accident she had been reckless, and once you've felt a feeling like this... well, everyone knew that people don't dial back.
>>7163572
>> Oops, Two of three
The subtle click sounded again signifying her port plunge complete. She felt electric. It felt like the hairs on her skin were standing exactly upright all over her body due simply to the static emanating from her groin. But of course, she thought, she didn't have hairs on her skin any more. It was perfectly smooth. Her mind instantly showed her thousands upon thousands of images - smooth metalic hands running over smooth, firm, metalic skin; the charges running between eacho metal plate as the built up energy desperately sought its way to ground.
She dared move her finger, hearing the wirr of the tiny actuators hidden in her wrist as she felt a new, powerful barrage of feeling propel its way through every fiber of her body. Her simulated breathing stepped up a notch - she thought she could hear the noise distortion as it eminated out of the 7th generation sound-box in her throat. At this point she barely registered the cold room she was in, the fact that she hadn't turned on the heating for 2 weeks and no longer had any chairs in her room resonating with these feelings - she didn't need them! She was in her own personal bliss, encushioned in a warmth that only she could feel, lit by a light only she could see. Her mind raced, her body seemed to glow with warm light, images flickered before her eyes thousands of times a second, so fast she barely had time to process them. Only the slight straining sound of the stepper motors inside her made her realise that she was convulsing, moving to the cacophony of signals she was recieving. She didn't care! She hadn't done for a while now.

And in one loud, raw, metalically-tinged shout, she felt release.
Bliss. Her vision became that of the room again, but it was without focus, darkening. She lowered her head, her body slumped, odd signles and sounds eminated from her as the motors previously holding her rigid lost traction and backdrove under her weight. Her internal capacitors would recharge in time, but for now, she just needed to close her eyes.

I, personally, am about to get my first ""augment"". Earphones that can isolate different sounds and lets you change what you hear of your surroundings as well as control the volume for different things. You could for example listen only to a conversation and turn the volume up a bit on said conversation. http://hearphones.bose.com

Crude in comparison to our desires, but awesome all the same! Especially if they work as well as the testimonials claim

The next logical step from here is to convert to the Machine-Cult and become her Skitarius body-guard.

>Further implying that there was not a terms of augmention use agreement you had to sign which warned about situations like this.

Such as
hacking
unexepted augment failure
diferent part manufacturers mean compatybility issues
augs means constant medications (depends on complexity of said augs and how much of your body was replaced\removed)
maintenance costs a lottsa money, core parts may be no longer aviable and upgrade/replacement imposible
and so on,so forth

>hypnosis somehow hacking
You can just jump a bitch with a old watches and expect to hypnose her. You can hijack access terminal at random doors to upload trojans up their cyberbrain.
>livin' cost money lol XD
Comparing corndog to hi-tech bateries m8?
>aug mainnetance=medical bills
Medical care is so expensive averige man can aford it only through health insurance and sometimes company may decide to not pay a dime. Imagine you're paying close to a small plane parts from your yearly revenue.
Think about it before curing your legs off.

>Can't jump a bitch with old watches
You're right, but you can hypnotize people covertly by confusing them, some street artists and sleight of hand people can manage it however it's not perfect.

do you ever learn about "supply & demand"
for example, your mobile phone, that piece of technologies starting with ridiculous amount of money, eventually with the demanding of phone increasing, its starting to become affordable.
Think outside the box my child

>spot the millennial
Cell phones only started to spred when service providers began offering them with long time deals.
They are still not cheap unless full PRC made.
Also you are comparing small handheld device with half to full body prosthetics about as complex and resource expensive as of new roadster.
Shit research fampai.
