So, here's a fun idea that sprang to mind recently. I'm sure I'm probably unintentionally stealing most of this from somewhere, probably GitS, but whatever.

Imagine a future where brain/machine interfaces aren't just functional, but common--just about everybody has a brainjack they can use to browse the net or whatever via direct neural interface. This obviously leads to new forms of entertainment that involve direct feeds of all the senses, not just sight and sound, but it culminates in the next level of telepresence--connecting to an android body via the internet and controlling it remotely, allowing you to move and act as if it were your own body and experience all its senses. Latency could be an issue at long distances, but as long as you're on the same continent it's probably not much worse than being a bit drunk.

This revolutionizes business and travel, obviously--no more screwing with clunky conference calls, and tourists can visit tourist destinations by just renting a body at the location and jacking into it. Much like car rental, body rental facilities offer a wide variety of options so that everybody can find a body that's familiar to them--or, to try something new.

Just IMAGINE what it'd do to the sex and dating industry.

One night you and the other guests try to get organized, and you find all the guests using the same model of android and you have an orgy of a dozen perfectly identical twins. The sky's the limit.

For a hilarious mental image--imagine what this would all look like from the staff's perspective: to the outside observer, it would look like a hotel full of a hundred or so people in a constant, 24/7 orgy. Everyone involved seems to have random fainting spells, only to awaken moments later with no memories and a different personality, going right back to it like it's all new to them. Nobody ever eats, drinks, sleeps, or leaves--just boning like animals, all the time.

Imagine a world where we are cyborg, the racism will disappear, because there is no such "body shaming". Fuck this flesh and bone that leading us to a war cause by skin color. Screw to be a human being.

There's a lot of art of Pharah from Overwatch with robot arts and sometimes legs. Not sure if there's any LEWD art with that, but it would be greatly appreciated if someone had some.

However, there is a fairly simple (well, in theory, maybe not in implementation) solution. Have the user not in complete control of certain things like walking, and have a local processor handle the things that require fast responses and do the walking for you. It just needs to interpret a few signals to have it stand up, keep your balance automatically while walking, etc.

I like the way transhumanism was presented in the 1995 Ghost in the Shell film. The change was gradual, but sure. First, military prosthetics. Then, technology is open to the public.
