You get bullshit powers like in most of these games. They are weak to start with but each time you use them you gain a point to upgrade either range, duration or power. At the beginning you can only do it for a few minutes, you have to touch them and you can only make them freeze in place.

At the end you can basically puppet people around for as long as you want as long as they are in your sight. You also are able to make them say and feel whatever you want also. You do not get to control what they think though, so you can make them do whatever and be aroused but the game will show you what the character is thinking during the scene.
