FYI we are discussing how to make a new tg file-sharing forum than will be more open to discussion, reviews and criticism, and yet be better organized and searchable than anything except e-hentai (which is godly). It will be more encompassing of tg than Farhad's or e-hentai. Ideally it will be a place where old commercial manga raws and translations can be stored forever, and it won't have any Fictionmania tier mod faggotry. (We will probably have a separate section for writing stories where we can tell them their stories are steaming piles of dog shit, and leave a star rating. Maybe the lack of insults is why Fictionmania stays bad.)

We'll be open to all suggestions over the next few days there or on the gender bender threads.

Finally got around to finishing Osananajimi wa Onnanoko ni Naare.

I'll put myself in the minority and say I actually liked the "status-quo" ending.

IMO If the mc had permanently become a girl, it would have betrayed all the character development it set up and even been a bit of a downer (to me at least, given I actually started to like the characters and root for them).

If he had permanently turned back into a boy, it would have betrayed the fetish.

Keeping the back and forth as a life long thing is probably the most fun solution overall.

Overall, probably one of the better gb manga's for me. Most of them don't have compelling enough writing or characters (even by gag/ecchi standards) and I end up getting bored and dropping them shortly after the initial transformation. I normally don't like impermanent, back and forth transformations, but this one used them to great effect to keep things fresh and treat each chapter as its own little GB vignette. It was no masterpiece, but it was a fun read start to finish for me.

Any other manga recommendations? I remember there was a fairly good list a few threads ago, but I don't think I saved it, and the thread is long deleted now.

You are not the only one, by the way.

I personally think the author could have managed to make a definitive ending with more time but basically was told "sorry, we need to cut you loose" or basically run out of ideas of how to set up situations that made for good comedy and decided to shorten it himself.

Even so the ending manages to find a nice middle ground which can go either way.
I believe with enough time the character could have genuinely ended up appreciating living as a girl, though maybe you end up with him marrying the secret admirer and having a Ranma style relationship where the fairy will follow him even after it is clear there is no way for her to fulfilll the wish because "she has to try anyway"

Kanojo Ni Naru Hi and its spinoff Kanojo NI Naru Hi Another are two of my favorites.

The change is fairly instantaneous, but for how both characters deal with it is night and day. The focus of the stories is different too, with the first one focusing on the male friend and the second one focusing on the transformed character.

I love both since they spend a lot of time focusing on the characters and developing pretty slowly. I think I tend to like the spinoff more since it has more continuity... the original has a lot of time jumps from vignette to vignette. Still cute as hell though.

I'd read the first one first. They're both fairly short and self-contained, but the first one has characters who do make appearances in the spinoff.

There's only like... 15 chapters of each, so reading the original wont take long.

You can also see where a lot of us were frustrated with the original's "ending" then we got this gigantic epilogue thing focusing on the relationship. Which is kind of cool too since usually the story ends with the TG'd person and the person they fell in love with getting together, Kanojo ni Naru Hi spends a lot of time focusing on their relationship and the hurdles they have to overcome.

In the meantime you can share them with free filesharing links, and we can backup and copy any posts made for the next iteration of the forum.
