Nice to see some decent animation for a change. The blow at the end is a very nice touch. I wish more people concentrated on animations, instead of trying to get out shiny renders, that end up just making the subpar animations and acting feel even more awkward in contrast.

You can get the rigs Wiking uses from daz3d's store. Although you can probably find some of them for free with some simple googling. But if you want to animate in maya with these, you will need to do quite a lot of work.

I think you can get FBX exports out of Daz, so you wouldn't have to do any skinning, but you would need to create a new control rig for the joints. Getting the blendshapes/morphs out might be a bit challenging too. You'd probably also have to rework the shaders quite a bit. But I haven't used Daz in ages, so things might have changed a bit.

There's also assets available at renderotica that are ment for daz rigs. Vaginas, penises, extra morphs and such. If you decide to try it out.

Thanks, Anon. I've never used Daz, but it sounds like they might have what I need. I;'m not concerned with curve/control sets, as I animate quite a bit on just joints (that vore animation was purely on the joints), so nothing to worry about there. I'll look into converting some Daz stuff.

I tried unsuccessfully for a long time to make rigs that would work for same-size vore. The best solution I could come up with was a set of grids of control points or finer an finer detail on the belly. Essentially, you would move the top level of controls to the approximate shape you wanted, then enable the second layer of controls, which were driven by the top layer first and their controllers second. Then you had a third layer of controllers driven by the second first and their controllers second, and at that point you were pushing individual verts around. You could hit target shapes, but it was kind of clunky. You needed lots of control groups to zero out the controllers to go pose-to-pose. The actual joints to which the skin was bound were free-floating and point constrained to the control points, but their orientation was determined by a clever set of aim constraints I had set up that kept them more-or-less pointing smoothly to their neighbors.

Of course, there's always the physically-based solution, if you're a masochist.

Thankfully I'm not into full-size vore, so I wouldn't have to do anything extreme like that (although, personally, I think doing a natural-looking jaw unhinge to eat the prey would be harder).

Most snake species that are kept as pets are easily large enough to completely overpower a mouse, even if there is no element of surprise. That's the first time I hear of a feeder mouse hurting the snake it is fed to. The snake would have to have been a really small baby corn snake for that to be the case, in which case it was a mistake from the owner's part to even try feeding it mice.

Not necessarily, even juveniles and older can get rekt by mice and rats that are being fed. This usually if the mouse is able to out maneuver or simply once coiled, begins biting and scratching in defense, which if the snake failed to coil correctly can leave the mouse alive long enough to gnaw the snake's flesh. (the enclosure can cause the snake to coil incorrectly, it all depends where in the enclosure did it catch the mouse)
That said, when it comes to feeding snakes live prey (because some snakes will not take to prekilled mice), they need to be supervised so the mice doesn't do damage. If you leave them alone and then come back to a ded snake and a ded mouse then that's your own damn fault.

They don't have to be drugged and some species are finicky and will only eat them alive. Most however can be switched to prekilled mice that are frozen and left to thaw out in hot water. Which obviously the mice that were killed that method still means they're killed in an inhumane way. There's really no humane way to kill mice for snakes other than getting a live mice and snapping it's neck for the snake or something. Point is, the mouse will died either way, whether it be in a stomach or killed elsewhere to end up in a stomach anyway.

I'm looking into getting some DAZ rigs, but it appears that may still cost me a lot of money. The kind of rigs I'm looking for are as realistic as I can get, so I can make the animation as based in reality as possible. But those don't come cheap.

But the rigs I linked are pretty much the pinnacle of what I'm looking for, I would still accept less. That's true, and it's an avenue I've considered, but I figured if some Anon out there DOES have some great rigs (there are quite a few giantess/vore artists who do a lot of single frame renders, but never animations), I would ask them first, before hiding behind a Patreon wall.
