VRfag here, I'm keen on making a game for fap purposes: you stand in front of a mirror with a relatively blank avatar, motion tracked with your head and hands. It works basically like a dress up doll game, but you 'are' the doll, and you use various skinsuits to change your appearance (pic related)

You can look down, put on outfits, make boobs jiggle when you shake left/right or push them with your hands, your perspective and movements scale with the body you're wearing, etc. All good shit like that.

Now I'm good at the programming side of things, I can get a prototype of the IK and mirror working in Unity just fine. But I can't artist for shit, especially in 3D, so it's all cubes. And I'm not sexually attracted to cubes. It doesn't have to be photorealistic, I'm thinking more along the lines of the animefag style of Yandere Simulator.

So my question is, what should I do?:

I've only ever found shitty or incompatible/not rigged models on free sites, and haven't really searched further than that. They also need to be 'hollowed' into looking like a skinsuit, although that can be dealt with other ways. If anyone knows where or how to get good quality nude models (the one with tits on'em, prefereably) lemme know.

The best solution as far as making things compatible goes. But it'd take a lot of time and trial+error to make something satisfactory, and I've only recently picked up Blender properly. Are there any good tutorials or whatnot to get me started, specifically modelling humans + rigging and animating?

Probably the most time-efficient idea, although probably the most expensive. Ideally they'd be as sexually fucked up as I am, and we could have a mutually beneficial relationship, but that's not something I'm holding my breath for.

Longer term, I can expand the 'game' out into other fetish domains, things like TGTF, BE, AR/AP and other abbreviations. Then, of course, there's the potential for multiplayer.

Learn to 3D. Or find a buddy on /3/ or somewhere. The models are the most important thing, and ideally it should be mutable so I can k-kisekae myself in VR. If you can just add some sliders and a lot of items of clothing to assemble cute outfits, you can make the number one VR game in the world.

It seems no others anons have noticed it yet, but Majalis has actually made a sort-of prototype for a Trap RPG. It's feasible it may end up seeing full development. As-is, there is a chance it may end up being funded by furry gold and become a lost cause. Or it won't, who knows. You just go around and talk to people. Certain NPCs (and losing boss battles) will initiate lewd events. You need to lower your purity stat to progress these events, each event has about 4-5 stages. This is assuming you went through the first dungeon.

Working on my kidnapping simulator some more, in particular the NPC behavior tree AI, and recently the inter-NPC interactions.

More progress on the AI. I'm working in the group-AI-events that I started a year or whatever ago but then never ended up implementing (e.g. group games, like tag, etc)

Well I started tying that in, along with the existing event system, into my behavior tree system!

I'm not sure how to handle NPC dialogue though, from a programming perspective. 1-on-1 ones could be easy to program via the behavior trees I think, although I don't know if I want to have basically an emulation of the player-NPC dialogue option-choosing (maybe using the same system?) where the response to a dialogue thing could depend on which response matches their attributes. Yeah, maybe it's good to use the exact same system? Although I think that might lead to a lot of files, so maybe I should have the ability to inline dialogue responses into a file as deep as I want, instead of forcing multiple files, one for each decision-point?

For context, here's a dialogue file. If you're at a node that links to this, it'll run requirements (which is optional - for here it's redundant to say allow scenario since that's the default, but I put it there to demonstrate), and if the block evaluates to allowing, it'll let the link show up. If you select "Do you want some candy, little girl?" it'll run this file and look at the attributes tag of the two outcomes here. Whichever matches the loli's attributes better (the * 3 means give 3 times the priority to this attribute vs the other attributes being matches - not useful here since only 1 attribute is being matched though., and the 0-5 means anything between those ranges is matched 100%, whereas the = 20 means only 20 is matched 100%.) and whichever matches better will be chosen, and the message block will get run, which decides what the loli says (multiple outcomeMessage calls are how you can get a sequence of messages without any choice). And the result block gets run for the message that gets chosen. Then once the messages are done being displayed, it runs links, and all the links run there will be where the conversation branches from.

Should I do something like this for the inter-loli dialogue? Basically the same, except I'd have to give the overall file its own attributes block since there is no player to make choices and I'd have to make the the choices via the NPC's attributes.


Although maybe this will be a bit much? I imagine most conversations between NPCs might (initially?) be quite simple, so maybe I should make a simpler system? Although it'd be a bit annoying to see the exact same conversations play out every single time... but I guess I could break out all the non-branching choices in the NPC-NPC dialogue into a single file where you could be like...

As far as I understand, you have to pick warrior otherwise your attacks do no damage and everything takes forever.

If you ever duck when your opponent is horny its probably blowjob time. Likewise, running out of stamina or "hit the deck" usually means anal sex.

Resisting sex increases your balance stat and reduces your stamina, so if you have to let it happen sometimes if you want to get up.

In terms of monsters:
If you let the wolf girl knot you when she's fucking you, its a bad end.

The harpy will go airborne every once in a while and if you don't "vault", "duck" or "hit the deck", she puts her dick in your mouth. If you let her cum, you'll have to spend a turn recovering because she "tastes bad."

I haven't thought about how I'm going to handle it in my game as in depth as that, however I knew I would probably do something similar to the sims. You don't choose what they say-- you choose what they talk about it instead. So instead of the player saying sentence a, b , c, d and having those options change as the conversation goes, its going to be a bit of micromanagement the player shouldn't have to deal with. If she sad > comfort, spoiled> threaten.

Wrong, RAGS is fucking dreadful from the player side, it's just even worse from the developers side. Compare the player experience for RPGM to the one in RAGS; even the most cumbersomely designed RPGM game is miles ahead of literally any RAGS game.

In my opinion FCDev is going through a two-handed expansion phase. While that's cool (personally I love a lot of two-handed elements in my h-games, I feel they actually improve my enjoyment of the one-handed elements, since they help with immersion into the gameworld), I think he eventually needs to focus a bit more on facilities (more, branched and FS-specific upgrades are a great idea), perhaps also extend what can be done through surgery.

How do you like dress-up to work as a game mechanic?
The Secret World was neat because your clothing was seperate from your gear and you could go on shopping sprees in London just for the sake of being cute.
I've seen some games where you need to dress to the occasion and that can be kind of neat but if you don't want 2 or 3 outfits for each occasion it means having a tag system or fashion based stats and that can be shitty for low-tier clothes that you think look good.
A couple of other games have clothes that work together to make a set. Like having a certain hairstyle and make-up combined with this outfit gives you a gothic look changing your description and giving you bonuses in these situations. I kind of like this one but its usually pretty limited and as its often used limiting a fashion style to a single haircut or body type is really stupid.

To weigh in on the RAGS hate

What really sucks about it is how slow it is to use.
RAGS is pretty much only used for porn (unlike say Twine which is popular for non-smut games) but it has so much clicking between each sex scene that it's a struggle for a porn game alone to sustain the arousal of a player.

The only thing keeping it above other engines is the movement and having loads of possible items, this suits a few games.

But outside of having loads of clothes (with pics) it has no porn game strength.

Even the famous RAGS games like Cursed are hot messes where none of the customisation actually mattes.

QSP's better but unfortunately it's awful from a creator POV and the official download for it is a fucking trojan

I wanted to share this game I found because even though I don't believe fatties are super /d/ related it's a really solid little adventure game. You do have to use the text box to solve some puzzles but it's usually really obvious, you can also ask people about puzzles and each other. Just to warn you it has some beep booping background music that plays constantly.

I think it would be really neat to see some more self contained games with definite endings. When a lot of people start out they try making huge projects that cater to everyone and are designed to go on forever but those rarely go anywhere because they underestimate just how much work it takes. The big deal fetish games like CoC, Free Cities, and Flexible Survival are the result of years of serious and consistant development.

Okay so what do you guys think of this?
A game where you effectively run & build your own dungeon (fantasy style) that you then populate with monsters (sexy monsters) from which you could potentially harvest stuff, and also use to protect your wealth from thieves.
To populate the dungeon you go adventuring around finding monsters and fighting them.
If you win the fight you can capture them and drag them back to the dungeon, if you lose the fight they fuck you but you could birth the young into the dungeon too.
Any opinions? It's still not fully fleshed out yet, but this is what i've thought of so far.

Free Cities 0.8.8, "Devil in the Details," up at freecitiesblog dot blogspot dot com, and at r slash freecitiesgame. No narrative changelog this time, since it's mostly boring UI stuff. The starting slave customization menu and slaves' individual menus are no longer reloaded for most inputs, which is nice. Anon modded the hostage the PC's rival can take heavily, providing hundreds of unpleasant miniscenes with actual impacts and some other improvements. And on the opposite end would be the super devil bitch from hell that focuses on dominating monsters into submission and taming them to server her and her dungeon or get punished by her merciless power untill they complied.

The way they would be ballanced instead of just making breeder better would be the birthing times and the growing up period but would have a much lower birthing period compared to the dominator who would be able to just choke out some minotaur that thinks hes hot shit and have him slaped into your dungeon right away but would need to grow loyalty more than breeders babies. Also dominator getting impregnated would hurt her stats for the duration of the pregnancy and have the child be a brat but could be raised into your precious little prince/princess of pain with great effort.

So breeder would have a steady but reasonably slow output of monsters she can successfuly be bred by while dominator can get her place filled with whatever she can beat but with risk of pregnancy.

The game is actually capable of telling you this itself. Play until you get the placeholder event for a slave, and there you go. By definition, she needs a random event she'd qualify for. You can even click on her name in the placeholder to check out the stats that the new event should support. I wish I could say I planned this functionality, but I discovered it only after setting it up for other reasons.

At times my workflow is quite literally play until placeholder event pops -> read slave description -> think up porny circumstances involving that girl -> write event. Though less recently; I need to leave the mechanics well enough alone for an update or two and crank out some events.

That could work. Many good games have a cushion against losing that kicks in if the player does badly: PC pregnancy could work like that in your game, in that if the objective is to get monsters, here's an alternative way you get them even if you lose the fights. In my mind the submissive breeder wanted to be impregnated so that she could give birth and expand thier family and have more children. So she would be taking care of them and loving them and realy the child would love their mom back and want to protect her and do what she wants, not realy know that she was raped and want to do it to her too. Maybe a bit of monster mom on monsterson /ss/. Explain in in a aura that she has over her children if you want since its suposed to be a badguy dungeon so the player would be supernatural and not a human. Likely picking which archetipe from the start and therefore race built for it, not that players couldnt play hardmode and play the reverse.

I suppose it could be more a defensive thing where the monsters feel protective of their mother, but still do want to fuck her and get more monsters.

Also having to raise them from birth is a great way of slowing down the submissive path, as you could expect that to cost quite a bit of gold and require some special rooms.
Like in the case of eggs it could be an incubation room.
And then the better you raise them the higher quality the monsters are.

I dont think allowing the players children to (on their own) impregnate the player is a good idea as it would get the player in a pregnancy loop where tey never need to go out looking for other monsters and can just stay at home fucking and breeding her own kids. That doesnt sound as fun to me, I would rather them be kind of attracted to and have strong feelings for the player and sometimes even express these feelings to the player for them to decide what to do with them instead of just jumping on mom because shes a slut. I think the breeder should have control over her kids and the dominator have bratty little fucks that are just dissrispectfull and need disciplin to be moulded into something that can fight almost as good as mom can and be proud of.

Having kids forcing the fucking on the players just sounds bothersome. Have the Breeder mom decide to show her kids how to play with any naughty intruders that come in and release their urges on them. Train them to be better lovers to be more efficent in taking down and sneaky adventurers.

This is a /d/ game killer. The second a game's idea gets posted, feature creep floods in.

My recommendation to the guy thinking of making this game is to start very, very simple. Make it so that there's only one possible critter and one possible adventurer. Take any ideas to expand it, put it into a text file, tuck it away, and forget it exists until that 0.1 version is done.

If the player is going to have a dungeon that they keep all their gold in that people are going to want to steal form, then as a balanced difficulty curve, the more gold a player has in their layer the more stronger the people wanting to dive into their dungeon is going to be.

like at first its going to be lone people exploring the caves or ruins, then people that heard roumers of a monster carying gold into a cave, then parties that heard of the layer filled with treasure and so on. With successful raids on the players loot reducing the amount of gold depending on the number of people that were able to make it to the players stash of gold and potentialy lowering the difficulty.

I think its just easier to think out the extreams of dom and sub as the first two classes just to begin with. Another possible idea is a mind controler class or enchantress that has a limited number of monster she can control at once and grows as she gains in power. Focusing on improving monsters through chemical or magical means over hording them in large numbers.

The monsters are effectively animals, with animal instincts. They want to fuck, they want to eat, all that stuff (though maybe in the monsters' case fucking gives them energy). So you have to keep your dungeon monsters happy otherwise they'll start to think that you'll do as their fuck toy instead.

Turns out that once a girl's worshipful it doesn't take all that much to keep her that way, even in the hole. I built up her devotion during her last break from the hole, after she got dangerously sick in there.
