I just spent way too long last night playing Magical Camp from TFGS. Slow MtF, guy accidentally ends up at a magical girl training camp and has to stay there in disguise, gradually racking up more and more irreversible changes. I can never get far enough into it without quitting in frustration, because while yes, the encounter text is too fucking long for a game I'm trying to navigate and fap to, the navigation itself is shit. Again, flanderization- navigation was terrible in dungeons in CoC (the "click location and go to it" menus were fine), but that was okay because it only came into play in dungeons, which were only only a few of, were only a few rooms, and were often one offs where you didn't expect to easily find your way around. In TiTs, every planet has that shitty navigation, and most of getting to places is navigating around planets. It's shit, it looks like shit, and I can't be bothered to fuck with it.

The H-content is of course more prevalent than a regular game, but it stills functions like spices to add flavor to the main dish.
Same goes with other games like Hunie Pop which is a visual novel-puzzle game WITH erotic content and not a true H-game.

Free Cities is an H-game because it focuses mainly on slave management.
It would be a management game if there was more emphasis toward facility/population control.
It would be fighting game with H-content if the game focused around the fighting pit for example.

Another good example would be Nightgames, where you fight other folks using H-moves.
If the fighting mechanic (which is the main gameplay element) was a regular fighting system with classic standard moveset (like push, kick etc) BUT H-content as victory, it wouldn't be an H-game.

I could go on but I think I sperged enough for the day.

I think a good hgame would blend gameplay, story and visuals with hcontent in a creative way so it doesn't reduce the entertaining side of what a game is supposed to be.
It's a subtle mix but I think some games mix pretty well both such as Violated Heroine, Trap Quest, Malise and the Machine, Parasite in City, Lab Still Alive etc.

I have really mixed feelings about games that primarily reward failure. Conceptually, it sounds great because who doesn't like seeing an elven adventurer get raped by, like, a dozen dicks? But at the same time, taking a dive during a battle to see a H-scene doesn't feel particularly rewarding.

What I'd like to see is a defeated-heroine centric game where you don't play as the heroine, but as some form of saboteur. Maybe a parasite that subtly manipulates its hosts into compromising situations, or a demon that can briefly posses its victim at inopportune moments. At least that way you're earning your victory by being cunning and taking advantage of opportunities in battle. It also means that since you're not the heroine, her being defeated doesn't break the flow of the game, you can always move on to your next victim.

Mechanically, your real identity will be treated as another username/account. Every night, the doxxing check compares all your accounts and, to keep things simple, merges any that are connected.
As for what the default/starting exposure values for your real identity will be, I haven't decided yet. If they all start at 0, there would be a 0% doxxing chance no matter what you exposed on the other accounts, which would make the system completely opt-in and pointless.
Maybe you had/have a Facespace account or something like that, and that's where the default exposure comes from.

I suppose I could make it another character creation option.
Being a normal person who deleted her social media account would give you low starting exposure.
Being a normal person with a social media account would give you medium starting exposure and some minor benefit (Morale?).
Having been a fad celebrity at some point would give you high starting exposure, but you'd start with extra money and fame.

I never got far in SlaveMaker but I enjoyed WhoreMaster
Mostly because I realized I could fill "My House" with girls of my choice, knock them up and then use the rapidly aged children as high class whores in their own special house.
The Image packs people made for it were pretty hit or miss. Anything that was a special character started with pretty high stats, anything that was common was shit by comparison.

Still, it was fun but not enough content.

It's a very difficult balance to strike in my opinion. You want to maintain a constant ambient level of lewdness so that the player doesn't forget they're playing a porn game, but don't want to constantly assault them with full on H-Scenes so they don't go numb through sheer content overload.

The problem is that the experience is so different for each player. The sheer act of buying a slave might give some players a boner because their mind runs wild with the idea, while for most it's just another click.

What do people think of Slablands? So far its been meh for me. I was hoping for more since the people behind it were trying to outdo CoC.

I'll probably catch some shit for it but:
My save says 17hrs playtime and I'm not finished (first time playing). It has some surprising complexity in the story and mechanics. It's a relationship-meter rpg, if that's a term, meaning you have to do things the girls approve of to improve their relationship score with you so you can unlock some extra scenes/dialogues. Its not really hard to do, honestly, it warns you who likes/dislikes what. There are some optimal paths available though if you know the actual numbers. At one point it lets you invest money in businesses, though not all of them so you have to choose wisely, and later in the story you get the returns on that to invest again. The story is about you working your way up the political chain, expanding your influence, and growing your harem. I'm not sure if I'd call it grindy, mobs do not respawn, it helps to be higher level though so killing everything (efficiently) is advisable. It's not the most mindblowing game ever made but I think it is pretty well done. H-scenes are all text but this is /d/ you guys have played text games before.

Just don't let the first 20minutes fool you, that isn't the real game. I tried it a long time ago and thought it was stupid as fuck at the start.

Slavemaker is good for what it is, with three major issues:

About 90% of the last 3 years of the dev blog has been monthly posts about how the Dev is too sick/busy/poor/Australian to get anything done. The only plus of that is that one of his apology posts a couple months ago linked to Free Cities. He's also active in a couple other places, like Futanari Palace where a most of the community congregates, but they lead to the next problem.

Too many characters. Seriously, there's at least 100 slaves you can get from one media or another. There are too many, it's too trivial to collect them all at once with the pain free "press the G for extra gold" cheat. Most animated characters someone has had a boner for in the last 50 years have major or minor slave status, depending on the variety of pictures that could be found for them, and most have basically no gameplay difference. This is a personal pain, because I'm a completionist and need to buy and knock up every single one of those slaves.

Refusal of help. He won't accept money related to the game or programming help beyond getting characters integrated, so it's pretty much a one man show. His computer is so shit it physically could not handle Windows 10 (RAM), and he can't afford to upgrade. The only really surprising thing is that he's still at it, and releases about one moderate update a year, not counting the trail of bugfixes.

I'm slamming it, but before that slowdown occurred he had developed a fairly well put together game already. with several well developed fetishes and story lines. I've gotten about 5 slaves into it at one point, each of which take about 40 days to train, and many of the main slaves have interesting questlines and attributes. It's worth a playthrough.

There's no denying, Fen's kinda a scumbag, but he's a very human scumbag.

He got his start as an amatuer working on a Slavemaker slave of all things (the first project he bailed on for more popular and lucrative seas.) and then got into this idea of the UTG poking at some other stuff in that community. Then this turns into CoC and he basically is hanging around on the ground floor of the internet revolution for content producers, and when he's pushed CoC to the limits, he develops a cleaner software with a better interface and the perfect setting for him to just bang away at forever.

I mean, Fen sure didn't seem like he was a well moneyed man before, he did supposedly actually used to get pretty sick and has a kid to look after - so its easy to see why he is the way he is. People keep fucking throwing money at him either because of sunk cost fallacy, or just they have no taste or self-awareness and think the product is good, and no way Patreon gives a fuck, porn are some of their top earners.

Fenoxo has hustled his way into the life, and keeps enough of a hustle going to make money doing this shit and other shit he likes to do. And, I mean, other than from certain ethical standpoints, it's hard to say he's doing it wrong - it's like all the other bullshit corporate america does. He makes money this way, and enough people who pay him don't give a fuck. And because it is porn in the US, there's not going to be some big media push about it either. Only way shit will change is if devs slack off so much they burst their bubble, or the market gets flooded enough people actually realize what quality is and it gets competitive.

For Free Cities, I wonder how out of place it would be for an XY slave to have an event where they complain that they've never lost their penile virginity. It's not its strong point, rather the whole storylines and fetishes it has.

Even on a fetish front, you might think it a bit tame if you aren't into monster pregnancy.


The one I tend to recommend on /d/ over Violated Heroine is RyonaRPG as it covers a more diverse amount of fetishes and has more heroines to choose from with different gameplay mechanics (so you are bound to find one that suits you); though some barely have proper art support you still have a dozen to choose from with proper art support.

Also - and I admit that is just the Dark Souls fan in me - it has a pretty brutal yet fair balance when it comes to difficulty.

If you decide to skip the noob dungeon, don't stock items before going into a dungeon, etc you will have bad time and will have to (or should IMO) use a secondary character to rescue your primary one (or buy her from the slave market with a few "bonus xp" in sexual attributes).

I think games where you get to see h-scenes no matter what you do, but WHAT you see depends on what you do, is the best way to go about it. For example, lose to a boss, he fucks your character, but you can also get scenes where say, a dying soldier hasn't had sex in years, so he asks to fuck your character as his dying wish, or something along those lines, and if you oblige him you get intel, if you don't, in the next level his brother gets pissed that you denied his dying wish (found out through the grapevine), that sort of thing.

There was an update on wife trainers eta for 0.2

Good news:I'm very pleased with how the game is coming along. The current game file is 80% larger than the 0.1 file, and I've only added one new major client so far. Most of the new content are supporting characters. There's lots going on now to keep you busy for the first nine months of game time - more than I originally intended. A lot of the additions involve intersections between story lines. In other words, lots of potential events involving multiple women in your life.

Bad news: I'm unexpectedly going to be travelling for most of September. That will push my release date back a month, and it was already pushing late fall due to the extra content. This isn't all bad, though, because I've been working on the game pretty much non-stop since last August. A month away from it may be good to refresh my batteries and avoid burn out.

Bottom line:I now plan to release 0.2 in early December. I have a pretty clear vision from where I am to what I want implemented before releasing 0.2, and I'm going to avoid "content creep" from now to then by pushing any new ideas into 0.3. So I have a high degree of confidence that I will hit this window.

To be fair, all of the options involving chastity from both those mods can be altered or turned off. Captured Dreams only has a toggle for the... "try the new thing" quest? It prevents the Master from offering the PC a go in full chastity+bondage, which leaves the player in at least the bra and belt. Cursed Loot has a full % scaling option, all the way down to 0% chance of encountering a chastity item (can also be determined per item, if you don't mind the bra so much).

The really fun combos come from needing keys to the equipment while it fucking torments you with random, often inconvenient bouts of orgasm. Works best when just about everything you might fight is capable of at least one of the sex scenes, but that requires another mod or two to get working.

Two: Is there a reliable way to get money and supplies? The little shits keep failing exploration missions despite having right traits for them, which means I'm screwed on the correct raiding locations. I don't need more fucking slaves, game.

One: You can get slavers as results from a few quests, with one specific quest in the sea side town that you exchange money for a new slaver.
The other way to get a new slaver is to rank up in a mission category. Doing lots of exploring for example will get you a new slaver eventually.

Two: The Forrest has a scavenger mission that's good for getting you tons of supplies [And a new slaver eventually]
You'll find that your slavers will keep using up all your money between missions, if you set yourself a... book keeper? he'll prevent them from just stealing all your money.

Generally I always have people exploring in the forrest and plains.
There's a couple of places you can take your slaves to to sell them as well, ones in the sea side place, another is hidden behind some quests in the mountains IIRC.
