So I've finally started having a lot of fun in Girl Life, with the guy magicked into a girl start. Sucked a lot of dick so far. However, I had a job where I was supposed to take something from the Porn Studio to the Sauna then bring an envelope back. However on the way back it seems that the envelope got stolen and the Porn Studio manager said I owed him $200,000. Well that's pretty fucking impossible but I did my best and managed to make $30,000. When I got home two guys took my money then told me I would be paying off the rest by "working" in the sauna. Okay, awesome, forced prostitution is hot I'm down with this even if it does take away the other stuff I was working on. I couldn't actually figure out how to properly whore myself out anyways, other than using the nightclub bathroom's gloryhole.

However, once I got locked in it was the middle of the night and there was no option to sleep or really do much of anything. Has anyone had this happen to them in the game? How do I progress?

Take advantage of fluctuations in the slave market, which will bounce up and down fairly reliably in the early game. If you don't have slaves you're actively training, buy some good prospects when the market is low and sell when it's high. Alternatively, buy and sell menials with any spare cash.

There is. Careers are just strings, so if you go into the "more customization options" submenu and manually enter one of the appropriate careers, that'll work. The encyclopedia has a complete list of the career bonuses. The only complication is that you need to use the same format as the encyclopedia does: for Head Girl, try "a politician" or "a lawyer." Double check the description afterward: if you succeeded, she'll have the bonus description.

The only warning I'd give you is that I make a lot of small updates to the game, so each update tends to focus on a small area. The new stuff can be thin in terms of content: for example, braces are now implemented, described, and (hopefully) functional, but that's it for now.

Yes, but it's hard. This is more difficult to handle than it seems. Putting rules directly into slave generation won't work, since a racially pure generator would make tourists, other arcology owners, etc. unrealistically homogenous. I could add slave market regulation policies on this, though.

Only at first. By prohibiting anal/vaginal sex you lose a lot of potential customers in the beginning. Good places to hang around are rural areas and college-cities. The rural areas allow you to collect food in the morning, which means you don't need to worry about starving. The college-cities allow you to produce a point of Fame every day, which provides a pseudopermanent (it lasts forever in that city, but only in that city, and you leave the city in less than two weeks) boost to customers, value, or (I think) negotiation skill: you decide which. That can really help you accelerate to midgame.

You generally find something good enough to perform on your expectations and then use them until you find someone better. It will likely have some options to raise stats in future versions, but won't still be easily accessible.
