Dammit, now on the verge of posting, I thought of one kissing the other to catch them off guard to pin them down, with the next kiss being directed from the opposite party during a fight in another chapter of the story, with the kiss lingering for a few seconds, enough to leave both sides embarrassed and leaving the family ready for more.

Thinking the first kiss is when her heat begins and she's agitated by the protagonist, and her pent-up emotions cause her to start the conflict, with the MC kissing her not knowing about the state she's in. Then in private she could realize that the kiss was independent of knowledge of her status, while he could learn why she was acting up against him, allowing them to return to a mutual truce, and agreeing not to make any further physical contact.

Also thought of a scene at night, partway through the week, where she ropes the MC into a session of mutual masturbation to help her sleep as a platonic favor once they've warmed up to each other a bit.

Well, Furry is not allowed on /d/, and I'm just not personally into that. I guess technically the other stories I wrote could be interpreted that way, but I did my best to downplay that aspect, describing scales as "imperceptibly smooth" or "like soft skin", etc.

I have a story request, little hesitant to post cause it's probably bad, but I guess there's nothing really to lose.

A guy is playing a new mmo using virtual reality and each time he plays, he physically transforms more and more into his character ending up like pic related. As he's transforming over time his friends all notice and poke at him as he looks more and more like them, clothes changing too and then even his voice changes and he stops talking to them in favor of the game because they make fun of him so much. He keeps playing and it gets to the point where further leveling makes them bustier and curvier. Then his friends visit him to apologize and he convinces them to play too and it happens to them as well.

So a guy transforms into his girl character over time, friends make fun of him and drive him away, then they get convinced to play too.

Are there any good fantasy novels that involve monster girls? I've never really encountered it in western fiction before but you'd think there'd be a few novels out there that do it.

I also remember reading a novel in which the MC gets together with a devil girl thing (red skin, tail, horns, basically a tiefling) but can't for the life of me remember the name of it, if anyone can help me out?

If they're meant to be a warrior race then cat-style ears and tail could be worth considering, since those are fairly common features of predatory species for prey/threat locating and balance, respectively. I guess they'd also be more things for the alien to grasp at as proving humans are not fighters to add to the initial tensions.

I guess voluminous hair is often associated with feminine styles. Though on lions I think the mane plays into making them look bigger and thus more dominant, so if you wanted a justification you could make the females the larger, more dominant sex of this species. Human sexes being "backwards" and human men still being smaller than the alien men would only fuel the antagonism, while being an exaggeration of the gender dimorphism could conveniently make those dainty human guys infuriatingly sexy and exotic.

Here are a few chapters of a story I wrote based on an RP. This was done a few years ago, but I remember being vaguely proud of this.

I don't know if this is technically on topic, but I was hoping it might be... I want to write a smutfic featuring monstergirls and the characters of Ranma 1/2. Only thing is, I can't decide between which basic plot I want to go with.

Option one is more serial focused, and can be summed up as "Ranma ends up in an MG world and unwittingly finds himself a much nicer harem, losing his virginity in the process".

Option two is probably closer in nature to the standard oneshot smutfic, and basically involves Ranma, his various love interests and his rivals getting trapped in a mage's private "retreat"; Ranma stays human (and male), but everyone else gets turned into a monstergirl, whom Ranma needs to fuck in order to trigger the spell that sends them all home.

Okay, so, since folks have been advocating the "Ranma has to dick his lovers/rivals who've been TFed into monstergirls because reasons" storyline, this is the current set-up I've got outlined; I could use comments/suggestions.

Due to space limitations, will break this into two posts; rivals and fiancees.

Ryoga Hibiki: Has turned into an Orog (orc/ogre halfbreed; 7ft tall multi-breasted green-skinned amazon with porcine ears/tail/trotters and cute little tusks). Actually the first one to bang Ranma because she's shy, sheepish, understands his initial reluctance and in fact has been crushing on him for some time, much to their mutual confusion. Fairly vanilla sex, plus Ranma's first time doing yuri.

Mousse: turns into a bat-girl. Is too disgusted by the idea to have sex with Ranma, even if it's her only way home and back to her old gender. Shampoo: Can't decide on a monstergirl for her. Something related to mountains/brute strength would be good, but Ryoga already fills the ogre-girl niche. The most unashamed of her new body and eager to pursue her "escape". Ranma's first sexual encounter after Ryoga.

Ukyo Kuonj: Fire-breathing kobold, D&D style. Ashamed of her new body and hides at first, prompting Ranma to need to track her down and coax her out of hiding. Quickly warms up to it once they're actually together.

Any tips for collabing on a story? One of my friends and writing peers asked if I wanted to but I find I'm doing all the work myself. Occasionally I'll ask for her input on some ideas or remind her to add any ideas to the outline, but it's always "yeah that sounds good" and then I write it in the doc.

I was thinking of ending it fairly soon, I'm past 10,000 words now and 12 is my target for longer stories so I was going to take it to maybe 14 or 16 so as not to make it too long to read.
I was going to cap it off with the reverse-rape scene in the dorm room, but if you feel like it should go on longer or that it isn't an appropriate ending for the characters, I can delay it and drag out the tension a bit longer.

Huh, I was seeing this as the end of Act I, per se, with them getting into a fight, ending with them accidentally kissing, or both getting nearly expelled, or it being revealed she was in heat which was amplifying her emotions throughout the week. So far, the tension has been negative towards each other, so it isn't rewarding to have the characters give into lust when there isn't the air already. Had a thought of her using his stomach as a punching bag while doing that monologue about how she's on the verge of losing everything/looks weak, ending with her on the verge of tears and gradually giving less into her punches as she gets upset, at which Stanley can finally have her reactions/feelings sink in;
At which he impulsively hugs her/allows her to bury her head into his chest.

She immediately plunges her claws into his back in anger, before slowly allowing herself to calm down when he doesn't let up the hug despite the pain. Then they can formally come to a truce, while she threatens that if he ever lets anyone know about the events of that night, he's losing an eye.

Thus, the core smut build-up can begin at a more tsundere level

First of all, you need to proofread much better (or at all). In particular, you need to learn how hyphens actually work. You use them incorrectly far more often than correctly. I'm not going to waste any more time on grammar, though.

Firstly, I broadly caution against piles of dialogue, particularly for new writers. Dialogue is awkward and difficult to write. Beginning a story with so much dialogue is a bad way to open.

Speaking of openings, the beginning of this story simply does not work. Some events and scenes cannot be incorporated in short stories because there is no way to do them in a few pages. This is one of those instances. By starting at the very beginning of the story line, you set a hectic and unreasonable pace. The result is an unbelievable and unappealing story.

To compound the pacing issue, the characters are entirely unbelievable. The main character shows effectively no reaction to any of the events that take place. This is one of the reasons why you should not start the story where you do. It is immensely difficult to describe a panicked or frightened character's feelings and a lack of reaction is simply not reasonable. This is doubly true for the surprise incest bit. What even was that? You can't just introduce that casually and then forget about it in a paragraph or so. Is this the kind of thing that's happened before? If not, why does the MC seem so calm about it? You do mention him being a bit confused, but that hardly seems proportional to the situation.

Finally and most simply, you need to work on visible separation. Paragraphing is not very clear and long conversations just run straight into paragraphs. You're not paying for white space. Use a bit more of it. Proper pagination does a lot for readability.

This idea's been bouncing in my head for a while:

A city's under siege by lizardmen, who are known to take any females they capture as sex slaves. It becomes apparent the city's gonna fall, so the story revolves around a few of the women in the city and how they prepare for being enslaved, followed by it happening.

Stuff like:

- Priestess that seals herself in the temple until the lizardmen break down the barricade and tear her clothes off

- Captain of the guard defeated during the first wave and enslaved

I like the sound of this, it does have potential, but I'd be worried about each story being a little bit samey. You'd have to make sure the Lizardpeople are actually people, with a variety of quirks and personalities, so make sure each scenario plays out differently. Half the appeal of noncon fics is the relationship between the two (or three, or four, etc) characters and the often conflicting emotions involved. That doesn't mean you have to make the Lizardpeople the good guys or anything, but they need to be something other than generic hentai monsters. Putting some thought into their society, justifying why they're known to take slaves and how they're treated, would help a great deal. It might be nice if some of the women end up 'winning' the scenarios they're put into - escaping or negotiating/impressing their captors into allowing them a better standard of living. To add some variety and keep the story from feeling too depressing.

A couple of other ideas you could play with might be a woman within the city who aided in its capture, and how she's rewarded (or betrayed) by the besiegers. Or a noblewoman and her servant - the noblewoman is understandably panicking and in complete denial about the situation, while her servant is far more calm, stoic, and accepting. She's been serving other people her whole life, after all, so she just views what's happening as a change of ownership. She could try and calm her mistress, or if their relationship wasn't great, take a degree of vindictive pleasure in whatever happens to her.

You don't see women mentioned in A/B/O because—aside from the writers being too busy schlicking to mpreg to remember they exist—I think they subconsciously realize they're writing a world where the vast majority of them would be subhuman citizens whose only career path would be to shit out babies for their alphas and get thrown away like a soggy rag once they're too old and their alpha feels the drive to breed a younger bitch.

Even as a dom I find A/B/O repulsive in concept and execution. There's nothing fun in taking advantage of a biologically inferior person. I'd like to ask a question.

I've said before that I have trouble getting aroused reading my own writing. In the same vein, I've noticed that I can't react emotionally to my own writing either. What I mean to say is, my stories don't make me sad, or angry, or amused. In my eyes, I've never been able to evoke an emotional response in myself in the same way I might do when reading someone else's work. Is it just me, or is it my work itself? If it's the work, is it because of a weakness in language? A weakness in description? A weakness in character? An issue with pacing?

Since I'm not the most stellar of story tellers, I can't self-evaluate very well, and I want to tackle this issue before I think about moving on to longer stories with over-arching plots. Because, let's face it, if you can't get an emotional hook on your reader, what's the point of leading them through a story? As much as I value prose, getting a reader to care will always trump getting a reader to understand what you're saying.

A gist for the busy: I don't think my writing is evocative enough when it comes to emotion. Am I being too hard on myself or is there something important I'm missing?

It's not at all abnormal. I'm very aroused while writing, but get absolutely nothing out of my own work until many months have passed. A lot of that is because it is natural to look for flaws in your own work. Proofreading is inherently unsexy. As far as emotion goes, you honestly shouldn't react to your own work. Basically all emotion is based on tension and the unknown. If you wrote it yourself, this is obviously absent.

I'll try to answer without giving away any information that isn't already in the story.

Socially and culturally humans and Borealans are almost irreconcilable.
Borealans are pack animals, like wolves or lions, they maintain their social position in the pack through confrontation and if necessary, violence. It might not be as much of an issue with a regular Borealan, but Raz is the Alpha of her pack, which makes her hyper dominant.

>The term Alpha refers to the leader of any given pack (family or group). Dogs which fancy themselves as the Alpha are generally pushy, manipulative, demanding and dominant. They like to call the shots in any relationship, and expect others to follow their lead.

Raz doesn't understand how a mutual relationship that isn't either dominant or submissive can exist, because before leaving Borealis she was never exposed to the concept.
At first she mistook Stanley's lack of submission for a challenge, which in Borealan culture it would have been, but now she's realizing that humans aren't pack animals and our social system is very different from what she's used to. This is why she flip flops between wanting to dominate Stanley (thus inducting him into her pack), and wanting a more mutual relationship with him.

Like when cats fight and play, they can be very rough with eachother without doing lasting damage, but they can injure a human quite easily because our physiology is different. Borealans are the same, they're a lot tougher than humans and Raz didn't necessarily understand the damage she was doing to Stanley when she cut him, the same injury on a fellow Borealan might have been trivial.

So really the whole conflict here comes from two people who are very different making incorrect assumptions based on their personal point of view. Each assumed the other would behave in a predictable way.

I had hoped I would convey that through my writing but I am a novice so maybe I didn't succeed in making it clear.

I heard that position developed because getting pressure against the surface closest to the belly is better at stimulating the sensitive tissue regions for some women, but it's pretty dependent on the length of the suspensory ligament of the guy. If the ligament is particularly short, you can easily get the same pressure from a less extreme position while the amazon one is either extremely awkward to maintain, or flat out impossible without damaging the ligament and losing the pressure anyway.
