Found a fix for people using chrome plugin at least. Haven't tested it yet though.

UPDATE:

I'm not very good at this stuff but I got the Sadpanda extension to work again using this method. took ~10min.

You'll need a program or extension that can edit a .json file (this is where you'll need to make the changes). I used JSON editor online.

basically you are just downloading the sadpanda extension and extracting the files.

if you follow the instructions on the guide, you should be able enter developer mode in the chrome extensions by using the chrome extension source viewer, which will let you upload the new file from your desktop. It'll appear as a new Sadpanda extension.

Enable the new extension and disable your old Sadpanda, then you should be able to access the site again.

exhentai has some really hardcore stuff, either way too brutal or way too hardcore for some people, like toddlercon and extreme gore stuff. The point is that they make this kind of galleries stay behind a gate. You actualy need to login there and if you have some sort of rating I don't know how is determined you can access the exhentai part of the site. My account allows it, idk why. You probably just need to create an acc and sometime your acc will just be allowed to access the forbidden part

Didn't work for me either. I even tried it in Chrome and Edge, both in private mode on a completely new laptop that has barely been used yet.

I tried literallly everything, deleted all cookies, tried the chrome plugin and adjusted the http to https, i tried in edge and IE but nothing works. I tried it via the inprivate way but no succes. and yes I do have an account.

Was same for me just some days ago; googled for the add-on and found it being called "ExHentai Easy 2" now, installed it and now it works again.
Then again, Exhentai has locked me out twice I think even after I had originally managed to get it, but it was only the very first time that I had a little bit of problems to get in.
