If I were to try to pin down my problems I'd be inclined to immediately point it out as somewhat jilted but generally lackluster construction, overall lack of anatomical detail besides some generalities, proportional issues, line consistency problems, and not finishing shit. I'm honestly not sure how to fix this but I do draw every day.

Yeah, as I've said before, other than beginner tutorials, I've only drawn about seven times (turns out I had forgotten one) before this one.

I think this one is probably better than the ones before it, though. Surprisingly, I can see improvements on each drawing I make. Pretty happy about that, since I worried about getting stuck.

Oh, I get it.
That was something I was doing on purpose. It's because of the perspective I was using; one breast is more angled towards the viewer than another and so appears shorter. The boobs are more meant to be big droopy ovals than spheres, so I was angling them so that they'd seem a tad more 3D. The Mismagius' "clothing" also doesn't hold them together, so I was letting them move apart on her body. I think there was a boob tutorial that explained this.

Pic related kinda shows what I mean. The boobs aren't as perky, but one leans out more than the other because of how they are shaped.

I never said I'd stop drawing vore-themed Mismagius either. I don't like how simple she is to draw if I'm frank. I want to get better. When I said "unlearning bad habits" I meant in the drawing sense, not in the sense of drawing anything with huge boobs. Quality of the art is important as in any other subject. What makes vore variable is that different people enjoy different things more or less, so an image which is drawn with less skill is still arousing. Lots of my favorite artists regularly create stuff I just don't care about because the subject isn't something I like. And many artists who normally draw super furry stuff occasionally turn out a really great piece of human artwork I love.

Here's an example. It's obviously not the sharpest creation, but the content is exciting to me and not a common theme.

What does it for me is the realism. Inb4 vore can never be real well I KNOW that, but the more closer to realism it is the more I can appreciate the piece. Just as an example I really don't like it when artist draw these large garbage bag looking balloon bellies that show a lot of outline of their prey. This might sound a bit morbid but I love the fatality of vore. Like having a human sized pred with a rotund looking gut that stores its same-sized prey in a compact manner, all broken and crushed being nothing more but a large sac of tightly packed meat.

I agree that garbage bag bellies are trashcan tier (no pun intended) mostly because of the ignorance or dismissal of anatomy it displays. The torso is not an empty sac of skin, there's bones, organs and muscles to account for.

How do you account for the presence of the ribcage though? Do you allow for them to part, or do you keep them rigid?

Some artists seem to take only the low section of the torso as being malleable once the prey has been swallowed. I can understand the logic behind drawing it that way. Artists who draw the stomach wall as being thin enough to make out individual features would be better drawing a cutaway panel instead, as making the stomach look that thin and flimsy sorta kills the "you've been eaten" vibe.

Soft, rounded bellies with the occasional handprint/footprint from the prey trying as hard as they can to escape is the best in my opinion.

I have the same problem sometimes where I can't draw if I don't have a plan of what to draw. What I do to make up for this is draw pictures in a series so that I have some kind of idea what I'll be drawing next.

AKA, my current plan is to redesign Final Fantasy characters. Whenever I'm not sure what to draw I just go "Okay, who should I draw next?" Or hit random on the wiki to pick a random character.

It's not about themes, it's about what principles and skills to practice. What object or thing to draw is never an issue, I know already what stuff I'd like to draw.

However, let's say I want to practice my anatomy. How should I be doing this? Life drawing? Looking at guides, e.g. Loomis? The real answer is both but I waffle it to hell, feeling like I don't know what I should do.

Anatomy is a really bad example IMO because of how often people try to "practice" it without understanding other fundamentals first, but at the same time I'm not sure about what to do for those fundamentals either. I feel okay with my proportions and perspective for figures most of the time, but feel I not only don't grasp anatomy well but also can't get specific proportional aspects of people down, such as head size, shoulder and hip width, etc. These problems are likely much more broad but I'm not sure what to think, except that I don't know what to think!

I draw daily, but practice makes permanent, not perfect. Since I don't know what I should be doing, I wind up drawing stuff but going nowhere skillwise. Another problem I have is that I never fuckin' finish shit. If I did that more it'd probably help me see exactly what I need to be doing.
