At this rate I don't really care as long as it isn't RAGS or RPG Maker, I'm tired of RAGS being the slow shit it is with clunky UI, while not as if inform is any better, it still loads faster.

RPGMaker gripes lie in total lack of talented artists to that can utilize the fact it is a game development tool, not a ready-built tool for fetish games. But artists themselves would need dosh to survive while drawing, and a long time to actually fill scenes with art.

Renpy feels awkward with no art. The UI is often at least decent.

Twine works for me, not often do people write content I can get off on, but it functions. I can be easily satisfied with just writing. Though it may make me seem like a dick for pushing devs into using it, I could care less about them supposedly having greater variation in game mechanics if they had just used RAGs/RPG Maker because I'd rather see them anything at all first. Still plenty of text-based transformative RPGs in progress or dead for just twine, and all they had to do is fill in the gaps with writing, but still get crushed under feature-creep amazingly enough. I'm still incredibly pissed 'Into the Dungeon' or even 'Magical Girl Content' never got finished, and the latter wasn't even heavy on programming, just stat counters leading to a few variations. Why do I even have hope at all if writers can't even finish one text game...

I opened up MGC as it is html just to read the continuation to a scene that you couldn't reach because he never added the next week from which you could enter that scene. I had to fap to the fantasy of what it would've been liked had the game been completed.

Flash is okay. Gets slowdown on heavy projects with art/animation.

Java is semi-convenient for people who want to open-source their junk I guess, but I don't often see people willing to contribute.

FC Dev. Blind girls.

I've thought about it a little and I realise how awkward it would be to design things for a blind slave. So I'll be very content with a prestigious slave type that were born blind.
Because then the implication is that they've had their whole life to adapt and develop the skills necessary to perform slave duties despite their blindness.

Trying to conceive ideas for how a recently blinded slave might cope in an Arcology would take many walls of text and probably too much programming work for an insignificant addition.

Its the dom/sub guy here again and I have a suggestion: The reputation meter lets you unlock more options with other people, kind of like a skill meter where it represents your fame growing as well as your sexual skills increasing. Certain actions will give you reputation but only up to a limit.
Plus, it would fit with the idea that everyone in the kingdom wants to fuck, but the higher ups only want to fuck the best.

Depends on the type of game, story, and type of sex.

A single "you sex" paragraph after you spend five in-game years working to save your waifu from the Demon General feels unsatisfying, but I don't want to read a novel every time I rape some pleb bandit for fun.

The longer the scene, the higher the chance that my character will do something I wouldn't, which is bad in games where you're supposed to self-insert.

I like FCs sex scenes as a baseline for certain types of games. It's matter-of-factly without sounding too clinical. I don't want it to read like a damn romance novel full of 'turgid shafts' and 'quivering flowers'.

You might try going to the Japanese talk thread on /int/. They used to have download links to the Genki textbooks which are good starters geared towards college-students and had rips of the CDs as well, which are pretty useful. They probably have other good info on resources as well.

It's 4chan so you'll be insulted as much as the next place, but there's usually some native speakers and other folks there that are willing to help if you don't make an ass of yourself and can handle some heckling.

I get that you're not interested in speaking it at the moment, but you're doing yourself a disservice if you ignore that part completely, and it'll make it harder on you in the long run.

Also, don't skimp on listening. A huge part of the enjoyment for VNs is being able to listen and understand the women naturally. I use jisho.org as a translation dictionary.

If you are comfortable with radicals, it's a great way of finding the definition of new and unfamiliar characters.

Kanji can be broken down into smaller parts and sorted/searched by those parts, called radicals. It's kind of a nifty system.

Aside from that, hiragana is usually used for grammatical purposes (such as differentiating between different meanings of a kanji, or conjugating verbs, or whatnot) or for pronunciation.

There is no option to import a character you've uploaded to the FC dev's blog. Short of hacking/editing FC, there is currently no way for a regular user to turn the block of text output during the "upload slave" function back into an in-game slave.

That said, most uploaded slaves should exist in the game as hardcoded slaves. You can acquire them either randomly at game start, or through one of the purchase options once you have enough rep.

Alternatively, New Game + mode lets you pick up to 5 slaves from an existing save and import them into a fresh start, but you need to currently own a slave you wish to move in such fashion.
