Some people go through with it and end up totally convincing for the most part, but a majority of trans people I've seen or known end up either just not looking convincing enough or still have super manly/deep sounding voices.

You're an idiot, there's plenty of science in favor of the opposite of your view, the issue is there's basically zero evidence for your view at all. The surprising thing is most of you retards who insist you know it all because nature/biology often prove you have no understanding of how biology actually works, but more importantly show time and again you have no understanding of how little scientific literature there is on trans stuff. HRT is provably safe, the issue of course is you are taking medication for their side effects. There is no true feminization drug, just drugs that happened to have feminizing side effects. If a drug was built from the ground up to cater to feminization you would see far less issues associated with it, but the truth of course is no one gives a fuck. The drugs we have around now work well enough that you wont see treatment options improve until organ cloning becomes a technology. There are so many common place drugs with worse risks associated with them than HRT drugs that its patently hilarious anyone would try to argue that they're gonna just kill you outright.

No. Bump the amount up to $1500 and I'd at least consider it, $2000+ and it'd be sorely tempting, but $52,000 / Year for a procedure that would probably require me moving (in the very least me quitting my job and thus offsetting over half the cash flow) is not enough to compensate for the shit I'd have to deal with.

I'd probably do it even after taxes...assuming I net at least 50%, all the surgery/hormones/etc. are included in the package free of charge in perpetuity, and there's no hidden catch like you need to webcam or move someplace or meet with your benefactor.
