i'm not the anon you replied to but here is what i see:
if you compare the left and right arms it appears that the right arm has almost no forearm and the wrist of the right arm starts where the elbow would be. since the forearm of the left arm also begins at the same height. It creates this kind of awkward perspective where it looks like the character has suddenly had to have their right hand sewn back on to their elbow after an accident of some kind between panels.
i think the intent was for the right arm and sleeve to be facing the viewer, but since there is almost no definition on the sleeve, or the almost perfectly round forearm within, to imply that there is any extra fabric or appendage there it comes across as very strange.

If the artist had adjusted the sleeve like they did in the final panel to show it coming up to where the right wrist starts it would appear less jarring
at least it would to me anyway
