Basically it's mostly new stuff we haven't seen yet. According to Eroe's pixiv their release is 1400 pages that consists of a 404 page sequel to the original story which we have not seen yet; the alternative story about Souji instead of Kou being female which is 615 pages which we've only seen the first third of online; and the spinoff story of Shiki aka the little rich prick from the main story being female which is 386 pages of which we've seen about the first half of it.
So it is a complete compilation of three new stories. I wonder what the sequel is about and I am honestly surprised that Souji's story turned out to be over 600 pages which is longer than the original story. I wonder if Souji starts to feel the same or different that Kou did at the end of Kou's story? The preview of Souji's story ends with what seems to be Kou cleaning up his act for Souji.

My sentiments exactly.

It added nothing to the story except for a loli sex scene. It easily could have been replaced with the new girl being bullied, more focus on what happens to cause the transformation, and the MC not being brave enough/strong enough at the time to help. It accomplishes a similar goal to fulfill the ending but avoids such an awkward scene.

The MC just sort of pounding away until his "feelings" filled her was stupid too, but at least not as uncalled for. I like the setup but it's one of those where the execution leaves me wanting.

On topic, my favorite TS story is either the one OP is talking about, or the one where the bullied guy turns into a girl and then dominates his old bully.

I wont try to pull a moral high ground, I find myself getting off to it in some manga and some times I enjoy stuff with questionable consent so I'm hardly in a place to cast stones. Yeah it depends on the actions of the author themselves I think that determine how much a work is pirated and how to handle it. We all know how an author shouldn't handle it. However author's can discuss with their fans about what to do. I know Blackshirtboy has a fair amount of pay-exclusive content and yet I do not see those floating around because I think the people who buy it respect the author enough.

I think stopping piracy is impractical and it's going to happen. However what can be controlled is how said content is available for purchase. I think either through the author themselves and/or multiple accessible outlets the better. I understand exclusivity for certain periods which Eroe is doing first because I think they struck some sort of deal with them. However it's when an author has their content behind big walls and treats their consumers as potential pirates is when problems arise.

Also I notice we talk a fair amount about piracy in tg threads which I don't think most threads on /d/ get into really.

exhentai is probably the best place to read the main/original story. I guess you can find it on hitomi or something like that but exhentai is typically the first place something is posted and translators like to hang out there. However if your looking for certain publications or authors that publish in those publications which have a monopoly with Wani are best found at hitomi.

OP here I decided to purchase Eroe's new release and let me tell you I skimmed through it and it's pretty great. I won't post torrents or anything like that as of this moment because that might lead to unintended consequences with how Eroe handles releases in the future. Especially seeing as they're asking on twitter how to handle piracy. I might wait a few weeks and see what they have to say before anything decisive.

However I can provide teasers and talk about what sort of things happen. Some crazy stuff happens for sure.

The content contains several different works. It contains the entirety of the main story along with some exclusive art pieces. It also contains a 2 page short by ShindoL and a CG gallery by Yajiro Masaru who did >>6801940 and X-Change Ying Yang Alternative.

As for the new content it contains all three new complete stories which had previews at Eroe's pixiv.

First new story is a sequel to the main story that takes place immediately after the main story and follows Kou embracing being a high school girl while making new friends. There is plenty of sexual tension in this one.

The second one following Souji being female has funny enough Kou stops being a delinquent and becomes bookish. Souji struggles more so than Kou being a girl and has to deal with a fair amount of problems ranging from thirsty lesbians to being jealous of Kou's new girlfriend. This is an interesting one that I liked a lot because something else happens that was talked about near the end of the main story concerning the TS virus but is brought to attention in this alternative story with Souji.

The last story is the spinoff with Shiki (rich boy) being female. Shiki has a very bad time and people treat her like shit. From an abusive mother that forces men on her to a roomie who uses her only for sex. However something happens to Shiki that makes it more bearable for her.

I can say that they all end as very happy mommies with very cute families.

TL;DR There won't be an english translation for the foreseeable future.

Long version
It just came out two days ago so no translation. There probably won't be any translations for a long time just like the time it took for a translation to be done for the main story back a few years ago.

This one has different circumstances that make the prospect of translation really difficult.

1) It's three stories with hundreds of pages totaling about 1400 pages of content.

2) The cost and time it would take for translator to even think about taking on a project such as this would be quite high.

3) This is currently pay-exclusive work that's only being hosted on dlsite at the moment. As Eroe (the author) stated on pixiv that it will be available at other places in two weeks.

4) Eroe is currently wary about the prospect of people pirating his first big work that has literally taken them years to accomplish. So if I or someone else that purchased this release were to torrent or post it on sadpanda right now it might lead how Eroe views their western consumers in the future. Especially all things considering with you-know-who that sometimes stalks these threads that may influence Eroe I might post this several weeks after Eroe has made some income from this release.

I think it's only fair for him to do so and it might be a good way to gauge interest of people in an official English version without the new content getting on sadpanda yet.
And Eroe gets to use it as a test balloon to see if sales warrant an official English version or he goes a "live and let live" position like ShindoL has.

I also understand that to some degree the Japanese artist are more pissed off about the RAW versions getting leaked than English translations existing (if they just writeoff the overseas audience altogether) but a lot of people who release RAWs do so because they have an interested in getting them translated "for free" (either by someone else comissioning or by hoping for someone to do so on their own) which starts a whole cat and mouse game.

Yes, Souji route is underrated, would love to see someone translate it (I partook in the editing/cleaning/typesetting of an early version of the English version btw, before Ser Maggot did the full thing).

If Eroe does decide to do an official English release of their work I can only hope he doesn't go the route of getting it poorly done by some SEA translators who's not even fluent in English like a certain someone and typeset it awfully.

Eroe did a collab with ShindoL for this recent release and ShindoL knows English fluently so it might be worth it to go through ShindoL to see if we and the rest of the interested western consumers can work something out.

I do not know Japanese but can probably give it a shot in contacting Eroe in seeing what they think about all of this.

Just thought of this idea so people of this thread follow me here.
We could also do something interesting in getting an english translation released without ever leaking the RAW content. We would need a translator if not several translators as well as other people to volunteer for cleaning, typesetting, and editing. Kind of like making a /d/ or even a TG-centric scanlation group to work on the product. Heck it's summer and I can volunteer my time to help with this possible project. It will be a long process and focusing on only one story at a time however I think this might be a good alternative if it turns out that no official localization will be released. Just a thought.

After reading through the full Souji route I have to say that Souji is definitely very interesting. In that route the dynamic and how Kou and Souji act change more drastically than they do in the main story. Kou who was a delinquent turned to eventual tomboy instead becomes very studious and gives up his delinquency for education. Souji struggles with her masculinity, tries to be more feminine to get Kou's attention who's busy with schoolwork and his new girlfriend, and actually fears of certain signs she shows of possibly turning back into a male while trying to get Kou to help her stay female. It adds a lot of depth to both characters. I like it a lot.

Also Souji makes for a very motherly mother which funny enough makes sense because Souji had to help with her sisters and mother growing up. Kou also makes for a cute husband. Here's the family photos of Souji and Kou married in at the end of Souji's story.

In my brief twitter interaction with eroe about English translations, he seemed open to it, just that it wasn't one of his priorities. Still, that's not the same thing as disrespecting his international fans, so let's give him credit. It does not serve us to write him off before he writes us off. He can think for himself, regardless of what other authors in the niche feel.
Frankly, he's done everything right by us. He's given us hundreds of pages of amazing content for free, and he has let us do our thing basically of translating his work and what have you without complaining. Imagine if we, as a fan base, impressed him so much that he would try to sway other authors he knows. This could be a turning point in this confrontational divide, between us, who are perceived as pirates (and of course some of us are), and authors of japanese TG manga and anime.

You sound incredibly young and naive. Wait until you get older and you'll become jaded by decades of crunchyroll fiascos and authors who call everyone except themselves assholes. Japanese publishers don't ever "get impressed" by foreigners, and the authors by default will always assume you're all thieves which means you're automatically in the wrong. I think it might be best to reserve judgment of Eroe and/or ShindoL until we talk to either one of them. There are authors who are cordial and others who aren't so cordial. They're people too and they're not monolithic in attitude and personality. I think playing this on a case by case basis might be best in this situation. Not being too optimistic or pessimistic here. Eroe doesn't mind that their free content being hosted and translated elsewhere. It's their new paid content that they're currently worried about being pirated. It's currently only available on DLsite and it's a critical time for Eroe to generate profit for his work since it's the first few weeks where the bulk of the purchases are made. It will be available on other sites to buy and things will calm down over time. Eroe is very excited that's it's doing well on DLsite and people love it so much that they'll cosplay it.

He says NOTHING about selling it in English there, and he's most likely talking about selling in in Japanese on the "English" dlsite. Having clarified what he said, don't run around giving these authors advice even if it's well-intentioned. Just don't. You'll get to practice your Japanese with plenty of people/authors in your lifetime, so don't spill the beans the first chance you get. The more you tell them about our best tools, and where we get their work, the more likely they are to hurt your fapping and our archives. They don't care as much as we do about keeping vast archives of old out of print porn, and if it's illegal they think it should be deleted, and it doesn't matter since someone will write more every month. We are the ones who most find porn hardest to acquire, and so we want to treat translated work with care so that it is preserved. They are the ones who get paranoid and vengeful.

You can't just crank out drawings of TG stuff and expect success. There's plenty more webcomics with TG or TG aspects that meander or have no real point and petered off.

Some I've lost track of had promising starts with art and ideas that died off the internet.

One of my favorites is Magical Girl Neil, since I love the art, the humor, and its take on magical girls. But it has an overarching story.

So you need to decide how YOU'LL use TG in a story, or how you want to, and not just try to "break out".

I'm currently working on a novel that has tg rather than a webcomic but both have similar focus on words and story. Think not your TG'd character as only a victim to be changed. That will set up your character to be rather flat in how they are.
Instead think of it as what opportunities does being TG'd gives the character that they otherwise would not be able to normally experience. Also for love of all that is porn do not make them crave dick or be totally fine with being TG'd right out the gate. A story is supposed to be long and have build up to certain key points for that sort of thing. Unless you plan on doing a short comic or a one-shot then fuck it, however, that's not the case for something that is long-running.

Make your characters people and give them qualities and personality that stands alone outside of TG. Also think how you want the story to begin and end first. The beginning will set the tone for what you're going to do and define the dynamics of whatever relationships your TG'd character might have with others. The end is how you wish your TG'd character to end up. This can be figured out in what sort of person you want them to eventually become. The middle is another thing entirely and should be taken at steps at a time developing plots, characters, relationships, and how your characters react to certain actions from others and situations.

Lastly a good TG story/comic will have good content outside of the TG itself and makes the reader want to keep reading to see what happens next.

I'll create a new post to kind of explain all of this using examples from what I'm working on with my novel.

At this point I guess I can add my perspective on things that might be an angle to consider. I'm Male-to-Female(MtF) transgender person who's well into their 20s and have been living as a woman full-time for a couple of years now.

I'm going to assume your son is either junior high to high school aged. Puberty is an awkward time for quite a lot of people. Things happen in which we don't really understand. It's also a time for a sexual awakening in a person. To explain how this happened to me. Before puberty I had thoughts about being female but brushed them aside thinking it's only something that happens in fantasy. Puberty happened and I grew to hate what was happening to my body. Around 13 I found out that being transgender was actually a thing and then did a lot of research on it even though I could do nothing to act on it because of the sort of community and family I grew up in. I then sought out media/entertainment that had some sort gender change element to it. Loving anime at the time I stumbled upon Ranma 1/2 and then subsequently into other like stories and found myself filtering my feelings that way. It eventually became a fetish for me because I liked the idea of trying gender change to romance and accepting yourself which I couldn't do at the time. It was an outlet. It eventually stuck that way even through my eventual gender transition years later. Around high school I was in heavy denial mode about all of this and did things that in hope of suppressing it because I still equated being trans as being a sexual kink and being a freak even though I knew otherwise. Suppression is a hell of a drug. Suppressing something can warp one's behavior and subsequently sometimes what someone's suppressing leaks out in weird ways whether it be actions or things said.

In a story, your character has to truly want something. It can be anything, from the physical to a goal, but it has to be enough to motivate them to take decisive action. Drama comes when that person meets an opposing force (another person, a physical limitation, etc.) that gets in their way, stopping them, and forces them to react and adapt in their pursuit. As long as you've got that on some level, you have the groundwork for an interesting, captivating conflict.

The TG in a TG story should be like the filling in a jelly donut. Without the donut exterior, you've just got sticky gunk on your hands.

Webcomics are serialized fictions with no end in sight until the end is literally nigh. As such, a simple plot can either go like The Wotch/EGS, with tons of happenings in our MCs lives; or more like, i dunno, DDG or Abstract Gender, where there's a set goal and the story has to do with the MCs life in achieving said goal.

I'd recommend doing something like a manga, here are two examples:
1) A big event to tell. For example, that time a guy from earth got kidnapped and made some alien's wife. How did it started? What happened during that time? HOW DID IT END? Basically you have a plot with a start, a development and an ending.

2) A thing/place/ritual that tgs people and often has either hilarious or lewd results. Maybe there's a haunted house and people wander every once in a while? Maybe there's this pen that makes you transform into whoever's name you write? Maybe through lightning you gain the power to become whoever was last wearing any clothes you touch? I dunno, go nuts. It's fantasy for a reason.

In any case, your two strongest allies MUST be your pen and your dick.

Any story, regardless of medium or theme, should be well written and planned correctly. Don't be afraid to play it classic. Pay attention to ages-old advice such as Aristotle's dramatic theory, what's the Western Canon, what's the new novel like, and check out The Elements of Style. Dunno much about drawing though, good luck with that.

On the other hand, you're not writing a description of events here. Your prose and theming have one and only one goal in mind, to cater to tg fans, be them yourself or others. If you'd rather cater through lewd fiction (which might have the explicit intention of making people fap to it; or might just be erotic and make people want to share it with others; or idk) then make sure to follow your own impulses.

Well there's the X-Change games. 1, 2, 3, and Alternative 1 are all in English. 2 has the setup and sex scenes, Alternative has the "best" story (it's still objectively pretty bad, but they actually did try).
