Now on to something different which may or may not be relevant to your interests. I'm posting this because I've never seen anyone (except me, right here, right now) mention it before and I've been lurking for quite a while.

This image might be familiar to you. It's from a manga called 81diver which has been running for quite some time now. From what I've seen it's mainly about shogi which is pretty much alien territory for westerners. So I'd say the chances that it's gonna be translated beyond the 4 volumes that are currently available are quite slim.

The girl you see on this page is, as far as I can tell, a very important recurring character who apparently has this gimmick of becoming good at shogi after eating huge amounts of food. After this scene she is playing shogi over the course of several chapters while still having this huge bulging belly in each panel. There are also a few other shorter scenes of her overeating including one scene where she is wearing a bikini after which she is forced to wear a skin-tight suit following a punch to the stomach after which she has to barf.

This all sounds too good to be true, right? Well, the downside is - this might be just my opinion but this manga has some pretty bad art. The shading and stuff is fine but faces, proportions, general compositions and poses are often ridiculously full of QUALITY. So read at your own risk.

This page is from Vol.13. The volumes you might be interested in are 13, 14, 15 and 18. There are no translations but you can easily find some RAWs (I just did)
