Say, you're running a colony of peoples. You need things like food, shelter, water. For those things you need people to leave the colony to get those things. This means you task people to search for food, building supplies, new sources of fresh water. Sending out big groups is safer but has lower chances of finding stuff. Multiple small groups has higher chances of finding stuff, but isn't as safe and when you do get stuff you get less.
In a dungeon off course, you can have a group go in to search. But Dungeons are big, and searching takes time. By attaching a time constraint for searching a dungeon, you add an incentive to split up the party into smaller groups so that they can search it faster. Time constraint could be food and thirst, or could be a dungeon collapse where it winks out of existance. RGD style.

Overwhored is largely about catching the heroines and making them slaves to your dick. There's some pretty interesting things about the various cultures in the world if you go out of your way to talk to npcs and find out more about them, but most of the time, you'll just be laughing at the Overmind's antics and then ordering your slaves to beat up and capture the next heroine in line. You're not meant to care overly much about the average character you run across, because most of them are either going to be turned into slaves or won't be of any importance to anything. Even the conflict between princesses, the closest thing the game has to a serious moral choice, doesn't mean anything because both of them end up being cows not too much later.
Legend of Queen Opala though, is much more focused on the plot itself. Even in the first game, where the protag's only motivation is to get his dick wet and collect porn pics, most of the game is spend following the plotline and doing heroic things. If it wasn't for the fact that every city-based NPC you can interact with seems to be fucking their neighbor/dog/close relatives, you wouldn't be able to tell it was a porn game at all. Especially in the sequel, where 95% of your time is following the main plotline and exploring the game world, with barely any porn making it in at all.

Since you cleared the primary objective it's technically progress, but it's not great. You mindcontrol a couple orcs, get the chief's sword, and get some incidental loot.. and next time around the warden will be even stronger! (and he'll probably have better loot too)

Who ever has the highest leadership score in a certain area means they are the leader. Everyone else close to the leader gets their leadership score added up. This would force the player to either keep a lot of small teams or to invest in the stat by forgoing other stats (like combat skills).
Or, you could tie leadership to overall skill, so that you can't have a bunch of really good units together.

There are three models of game making, especially H-game making.
One where the framework is made first, where the whole grand vision of the game is fleshed out and has locations and filler put in to make it all work in a playable build. Bugs are rampant, content is rare, and the creator quickly loses motivation because after the first initial burst of progress where the framework was built, it's all backfilling that feels like playing catch-up. Most of the HHS variants have this problem, although Ashford Academy avoids it. Those open-source Chose-Your-Own-Adventure games are rife with it. There's a bunch of CYOA twine games that are filled with it. Breeding Season does this a *lot* - there's still missing sex scenes between types of critters.
The second is to build a core that serves as a small but complete experience on it's own and just constantly expand and build upon it. Bugs can be fixed as they arise and content can be built in on the fly based on fan feedback and there's a constant sense of the game expanding. However, this can lead to early mistakes, limitations and such coming back to haunt the coder. Free Cities, CoC and TiTS all did this to good effect, although all have had problems with having to redo early code to expand core gameplay.
The third is the path of madness - to create the entire game in one fell swoop and then dump the whole thing, fully formed, onto the internet, with just minor bugfixing and translation after release. Off the top of my head, only Old Huntsman does this.
Folks, be the second kind. It's all well and good to have an enormous grand sweeping vision for what the game will end up being, but having to skim past pages of filler content and emptiness to get to a few pockets of actual content will quickly wear down the enthusiasm of players. And let's face it, the vast majority of h-games are never finished, and if you follow the second path, you'll have a playable game for people to enjoy and possibly build upon.

You're forgetting a "worst of both worlds" or "like actual game design" method, where the developer(s) start with a concept and a direction and let work kind of accrete over time stacking into early concept builds, then into actual alpha and beta testing builds, hopefully leading to a finished product. But instead of everything but the last 10% being closed and only making it public when you get to the "okay, we need the monkeys with typewriters-level testing now", devs dump out their day 1 concept builds public.
It's not the first because it doesn't even get to the framework with filler stage yet, nor is it the second because it's also not anywhere near the "self-contained" experience. It's just like looking at the daily builds of a AAA game design in the first day of a three-year dev cycle.
This is something many games, especially out of TFGames are rife with, where the developer throws up a "demo" or "concept" as soon as they have like two different screens of text you can move to and say they have a lot of ideas but aren't anywhere close to expressing them in game.

Beating back the invasion should get you some kind of reward, but an invasion being triggered should also close the dungeon portal afterwards. The Idea from the original guy actually making the thing is like Xcom style, but I'm visioning it more like the dungeons and battle style is like Disgaea but with Fog of War. Maybe the best thing to do is to check what existing games do, get inspired by them (CoC and clones, Jack o Nine Tails, Cursed, whatever else is decently popular) and then do your own thing. Or you make a rough outline of your concept and setting and ask for user input.

Or rather, they might exist but anyway probably none you'd actually want to use for this exist. You'd want something as general and powerful as what Inform and Twine provide... it'd practically have to be a whole IDE, maybe. Just writing something from scratch in Java would make for an unnecessary uphill battle, if you were writing a text game in which the player actually types.
On the other hand, if the player's input is mostly done through buttons and listboxes and such (as in Newlife), and the text is an output mechanism rather than an I/O mechanism, then you could do pretty well with Java and Swing. But again, CHANGE THE LOOK-AND-FEEL
You don't need external art assets to make a good fappy RPG, but you will need to be able to write. A lot of games that slap them in slipshod actually suffer for it. If nothing else, 3d girl custom can make for decent mock ups, but nothing terribly serious.

You can also learn to get decent at photoshopping. A lot of the best games made in RAGs make use of heavily manipulated photos rather than anything original.
Anyone know of some mods for medieval-era games? I'm looking for pretty much anything. Specifically, if anyone knows of any sex mods for CK2 or Mount & Blade. I want to play as a female character and have options for sexual submission and the such.

If, for example, you are the leader of a squad of soldiers, and you catch a POW. And your soldiers are about to get it on with said POW, and you can intervene to stop that, which would not be good for your relationship with your soldiers but might be advantageous if you are caught yourself. Problem is that in two-hand mode, you don't have infinite time.
As a result, you want the biggest tits you can find. 4000cc is the best, but are very rare even in the Growth Academy, and tend to be very expensive. I've found that 3000cc gives one of the most practical returns on investment. 6-7 turns will give you a full recoup of your investment on her, she starts out producing more money than all but the highest level of whore, and the quirks that they come with don't affect milk production in any meaningful way.

Basically three sort of mini quests (two minor fetch quests and one rescue quest) for you dad and one optional side mission. I think that's a decent amount for a starting zone. You'll get to head back there later anyways.
On the plus side, I think I'm getting better at making roofs that don't look like complete ass.
Now to move on to the provincial capitol and your first recruitable party member.
I'm thinking I'll make it so that there's several options the player can have. 1) Lose the fight - bad end, she makes you her bitch. 2) Lose the fight - but if you have an item you got from a side mission, it lets you fight again, and weakens her. 3) Win - can dominate her if your dominance score is high enough, and your submissive score is low enough. Fail check = she doms you and escapes. 4) Win - can dominate her and ignore trait checks by buying a hardier type of magic rope at a store.
If you choose to enslave her, you can either keep or as a party member or sell her once you get back to town.

So am I missing something, or is the only way to get an "Extremely Prestigious" slave is to complete the main storyline successfully, and you only get one kind, and only one of them, and that's it? Is there no other way to get additional extremely prestigious slaves?
I was looking forward to getting trophy wives, princesses, etc., but the one I got was a rival arcology manager, and since then nothing.
Even one of the slave purchase options mentions buying prestigious slaves, but no matter how many you search through, none of them are even slightly prestigious.

It locks the majority of content behind mtf so while you're not forced to become female persay there isn't much you can do as male in it.

I bought two nearly identical large breasted slaves, set one to whore and the other to milking. The whore is consistently making double what the cow is, even after eating the cost for intensive hormones on the cow, which at all but the highest-leveled cows seems to actually be a waste of money.
Unless I'm fundamentally not getting something about milk production, it looks like cows are effectively a non-option this patch.

Fun fact: 50 customers a day seems to be the upper limit that a single whore can get. Assuming that slaves get around 8 hours of sleep each day, since less is bad for health in the long term, that means that in a working day of 16 hours, that whore will wring every man dry in under 19 minutes each. Even less, since she has to clean up in between customers.
So, doing some testing, it looks like you can take a cow, change her to nympho with SP, have her whore for 2-3 weeks while training her to build her skills, and she'll be making roughly the same amount as she would have been as a cow pre-patch. More if you put her alongside her lover.
What was purpose of nerf then?
Also, the bug with Arcology owners being in infinite supply until you take the bribe is still there.

A cow makes 40 or 15 more than their upkeep costs
Currently as the game stands, cows make so little that it would actually benefit players to remove it entirely so as to not trick them into a pointless financial path early in the game.
From this I personally think it easy to conclde that cows need serious rebalancing. Maybe make each slave earn more the longer she's been milked on account of increased milk production
