>King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) leads the Knights of the Round Table in battle against an invading army, and are on the verge of defeat when the slightly insane wizard Merlin retreats to a nearby cave, actually the massive turbine of a buried spaceship, and returns charging into the battlefield alongside a colossal three-headed Cybertronian dragon known as "Dragonstorm".
>On present day, a group of schoolchildren explore the ruins of a battle between humans and Transformers, who have been at war since Optimus Prime's departure from the planet years before. They are ambushed by a human-made robotic drone and rescued by rebellious teenager Izzy (Isabella Moner) and her Autobot companions Squeeks and Canopy, the latter which is mortally wounded by the drone before Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and Bumblebee arrive to rescue them. Cade has been branded a fugitive for his association with the Autobots and now transverses the world rescuing Transformers in need, aided by wisecracking hacker Desi (Jerrod Carmichel). They welcome Izzy and Squeeks into their "family", but Cade is then captured by the Transformers Response Force (TRF), a paramilitary unit dedicated to exterminating the Transformers.
>tfw bayformers will never end
>Some time later, Cade meets Sir Edmund Burton (Anthony Hopkins), a scholar who lives in a fortified estate in the English countryside with his robotic attendant Cogman and an Autobot disguised as a WWI-era tank suffering from "robot dementia" and still believing the conflict is to be taking place. Burton is versed in the secret history between humans and Transformers, having met Bumblebee as a young boy and collected numerous Cybertronian artifacts from across the centuries including the Round Table were King Arthur and his knights once conferred with the legendary Knights of Cybertron. Burton reveals that the future of both races rests on Cade's shoulders by the virtue of what he has found and introduces him to historian Vivian Wembley (Laura Haddock), whom Burton has called for help. Blue-collar rogue Cade quickly clashes with uptight upper-class Vivian, to Burton's amusement.
>Lost in space, Optimus is found and revived by a mysterious entity known as "Quintessa" (Gemma Chan) and returns to Earth as her enforcer, leading to a vicious battle against Bumblebee atop a Cybertronian vessel emerging from the bottom of the ocean, as Cade and his friends look on in disbelief. Optimus gains the upper hand and proves himself willing to kill his young protege.

>Implying that's bad
Funkino flicks.
And what will Megatron be doing?
>>49189
Jobbing.
>>45983
>transverses
Just had to get the "trans" part in there, shit.

Why the fuck is humanity hunting the Autobots after how many times they've saved their asses?
>>53600
Same reason they were going to send them away in a rocket and give into the Decepticons
They're idiots
>>53600
They're mostly focusing on Decepticons, but if they "accidentally" kill an Autobot no one is losing any sleep on it.
>>53704
>>53831
That's been stupid since the last freakin movie when they were hunting Autobots out right.
Dark of the Moon had the humans give into the Decepticons wishes to send the Autobots away then what happens? They take over a damn city and start murdering humans left and right. Autobots show up to save the day then after that shit they're still blamed for it even when it was humanity's shitty idea in the first place.
I mean what the fuck is the logic here now?
>>53959
Well, in AoE they weren't SUPPOSED to kill Autobots, but they did anyway because they were being assholes.
>>53959
I think at this point it's like Starship Troopers
>The only good bug is a dead bug!
but replace "bug" with "bot"
After all the casualties Cybertronians caused on Earth i'd be pissed off too. Within a decade they completely changed the world and advanced technology centuries into the future but at the cost of having a near Earth ending attack every 2-3 years with the human military being rendered useless at most encounters.
>>54041
Cemetary Wind, lead by two assholes, were being assholes too.
>>53831
Nope. This time Autobots are public enemies. There's even government-issued anti-Optimus propaganda in the streets.
>>55005
That's misleading. Those only take place after Op returns from space, takes Bumblebee's face, and dumps it on the White House lawn.
>>45983
Wait, what happened to Tessa and Shane?
>>55712
They're "in hiding".
>>55959
What happened to Shia Lebouf?
>>56749
Probably assassinated between DotM and AoE.
>>56749
Went crazy. Started a one man show, did a lot of crying. The usual.
>>55712
Who? Sorry I stopped watching this shit after the first shitty sequel
>>46088
Burton knew Bumblebee as a young boy? He arrived on Earth in, like, 2006. How long has it been?!
>>57355
Cade's kid and her boyfriend from #4
