Thread activity: Due to recent events, draw your characters cooking or eating something in celebration of today.
I made a joke thread earlier today, I don't know if this one will last as long, but good luck my dude.

>15,000 words into outlining my future webcomic
>only about 10% of the total story
>still can't draw
My sister said if you use blues for shading and warms for lighting your art will look cool
It's pretty cool, in my eyes.
Is it okay to do a webcomic with each page being a drawing, instead of breaking it up into little boxes? The art is kinda important but I don't want to spread my artist too thin
>>35688
yes ive seen some comics that are page-by-page
>>34215
>can draw
>outlining my future webcomic
>outling would be finished earlier if I didnt write once or twice a week
>>34839
is this bait
>>36462
Yes, don't reply
>>35688
Sure, you mean kinda like what Ava's Demon does?
>>36462
Yes, thank you for the (you)!
If i get at least 2000 more I can cure my dad's AIDs.
well this is confusing and irritating, I can't even see what we missed at the end of the last thread
>>34839
looks like a fire's happening at night
>I just watch things burn, I guess
Delved back into the writing stage after trying another draft. Spent all day researching dreams, psychology, archetypes, and whatnot.
Greek mythology has a river of forgetfulness. How great a story element is that?
>>38803
it is pretty cool, definitely underused
>>38648
Same, I hope they'll restore the archives.
>>38887
They probably will, the threads accidentally switched back to normal for a few minutes a couple hours ago and the last thread was still there.
>>39130
they should have just done a funny fake front page and left it at that
>>39600
actually, CAN you even see a list of the funny combined boards? I feel like I should at least check that out so it's not a complete waste
>>39600
That's mad weak and besides who ever goes to the frontage?
Board merging was genius, admit it!
>>39815
>>/can/
>>/fitlit/
>>/mo/
>>/mlpol/
>>/cock/
I think that's all of them.
>>39892
ah okay. thanks.
>>39983
Forgot /fap/
>want to make episodic comic
>want to save stories for later still
>can't think of filler
>>40496
mundane probs
>hero has to shit, cannot find bafroom
>cinnamon buns required by loved one, cinnamon nowhere to be found. substitutions occur.
>fictional holiday rolls around
>>40583
I...maybe I can use that. good suggestion.
top quality april fools gag from raccoongirl today. anyone else do one?
>>41938
Yes, I posted this and then said I'm coming out of my hiatus this week.I'm not coming out of my hiatus this week.
>>43521
You are a year round April Fool's joke.
>>45019
yeh, you never know what to expect with me! haha.
>>41938
oh thank you! here is the aforementioned april fools pages if anyone missed them. (long picture sorry)
It was fun to do so I hope I can catch more holidays down the line
>>45884
>blank faced parents
>Zeki's glasses having swirls
it's the little things
would've been funny if the site was renamed Raccoon Shoujo but that's understandably a lot of work
>>46512
there is even a side mouth just like in my anime's
but yeah couldn't do the url thing because tumblr has a weird url changing system where art will stay attached to the dead url
Are there artists out there who will draw degenerate nsfw webcomics?
>>52432
Of course.
What's your poison?
>>52493
Alternate species humanoid with a different type of puberty than humans
Felt like making a /cock/ drawing of my character. Not from a comic yet, but in the process.
>>56243
that was a fun thread activity we did a while back. it's neat and a good way to explore what a character is about if you think about their favorite food
>>53601
Even without the possible NSFW context, that's actually kind of an interesting subject just on its own.
>>56738
i did a detailed medical anatomical study of one of my alien species once, with the character getting embarrassed during the process. i wish i knew where that sketchbook was
>>56738
There's plenty of NSFW context... But yeah I suppose it could be interesting. It somewhat makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint

I just finish the comic. If you are confuse. Please tell me!
>>58197
looks like part of the B in But got cut off
>>58744
I think that is the font problem.
>>34033
Daily salt. I'm playing the thread challenge on easy mode.
Last thread someone asked me if this comic was a metaphor. In simplest terms this is just the allegory of Plato's Cave. The sugar represents a personal experience that others can't necessarily relate to. And you seek somebody that else that understands what you went through. And others will have similar experiences but... do they really get it? It's that kind of thing.
Comedy gold
>>61551
Fug you ;_;
>>61586
There are so may things I could aay to you, but it would just be like tryng to stear a car with a fart.
>>34215
You know, there is this weird form of comic writing invented around 4000 BC by people who couldn't draw, they instead chose to describe everything that happens with words, it's called "literature".
>>61744
>people who couldn't draw
gimps, you mean?
wait, this hasn't reverted yet?
>>61744
anon, literature was invented at like 1500 BC. you're thinking of oral storytelling.
This thread is now mine forever now that /cock/ is a secret board.
>>62564
Not on my watch.
